The sound quality was bad even for a $13 pair of headphones; I could hear myself breathing while wearing them. The wire, which in the photo looks like a braided cable, is just behind some cheap plastic.Do not buy even as a throwaway set of earbuds.

I pretty much impulse-purchased these since I had an out-of-town trip to go on, and didn't feel like lugging some of my full-size headphones with me. Since my older IEMs went kaput due to wear & tear ages ago, I needed a quick replacement, and gave these a chance due to the reviews.Well I'll be honest as someone who has a well-trained ear but not necessarily a hard-core audiophile. The sound on these is about what you'd expect from a brandless generic Chinese set of cans. The sound isn't quite awful, but it's generally a really hollowed-out soundstage with almost non-existent bass. The high end is very bright and if you turn the volume up on certain songs you'll easily get that "ice dagger picking away at your eardrums" sensation. The mids and highs are fairly discernible, but the bass and overall lows are muddled and very hard to hear in the mix.What you get is a very cheap-sounding set of cans with mediocre audio reproduction. But you couldn't have expected much better for the price, one would think. There actually are much better-sounding sets for similar prices it you look around, just make sure it's a name-brand.Since I bought these solely for convenience, I'm not upset at all. These will be getting replaced down the line, but for a cheap set to just have something to listen to on the go rather than nothing, these did okay.

(See edit below.) Mid-range is a little tinny or a bit muddied depending upon insertion Only two size buds. Neither were perfect for me. Support by the base brings a lot more background in than Apple products that basically just focus on the vocals. Seems to be high quality construction. Very efficient. If they fit me better without holding them in a sweet spot, they would rate higher. They would be fatiguing for all day listening as they are.Edit: These buds have gotten better the longer I have listened to them. I'd say it took 10-15 hours before I noticed, so I left them playing for a couple days and they improved before plateauing. Now, I would say they are a very good product for the money and the fit doesn't seem to nee and issue anymore.

Flimsy braided cable, only one extra set of silicone buds (smaller than I'm used to) and right side went completely dead within two hours of use. I'm done rolling the dice with super cheap ear buds, I swear these reviews are modded.

The quality is average. The sound quality is decent and the buds fit in my ear ok. Compared to Skullcandies Smoking' Buds 2, these are not as comfortable in the ear nor as easy to insert and remove. HOWEVER, the microphone functionality is actually superb. Get these if you intend to use them predominantly for phone conversations.

One side wasn’t working

I use earbuds when riding my motorcycle. wireless buds just do not last long enough (battery) but wired will run all day long and got these because of volume control. Riding in town lower volume and at freeway speeds can turn the volume up with out fishing the phone out of my pocket. Another good thing the wires are thicker. Overall great buds, got them today so long life who knows but will order another set.Andy

I'm not asking you to not waste your money on this product. Although I've ordered twice before and the same products quality are awful. It doesn't last 2 months until the left/right earbuds died on me. I didn't realized where does these brands came from, until I did my researches. Yes, of course it is "Made In China".Well, it's really up to you guys -- if you want to go ahead and buy it, or save your money for something else (which made from different country as from Germany, Japan or Mexico).
