Because I’ve tried other donut-type cushions, I knew I’d bought the right one as soon as I sat on this one. It wasn’t too firm like others. And the front curvatures on this pillow relieved the back of my thighs from the pressure I felt from the non-curved type. The center hole on this pillow is perfect to relieve a 70-year-old prostate from hours of sitting at a computer. And the rear curvature takes pressure off my tail bone. Will the pillow fit every body size and type? I doubt any donut pillow is a one-size-fits all, but no doubt this will work for most people. I’m 6’1” and weigh 198 lbs. and it’s an almost perfect for my size and build. Another inch in total width would be absolutely perfect, but absolutes aren’t necessary here; it’s certainly close enough to make this cushion a keeper. I’ve sat on this for two and three hours at a time with ease. I definitely recommend people give this cushion a try.

I read lots of reviews for different donut pillows and decided to spend a little more money on this one. Some other donuts were said to be too hard and that was not acceptable. This is soft enough to be comfortable but firm enough to support my bottom for long hours when sitting upon it. It's the right size, it doesn't shift on the chair. I would say the manufacturers thought of everything. I am delighted with it and it was well worth every penny

No inflation needed. It does help but I can’t use it for long hours. The inside foam is still not what I’m looking for. It stays stiff but still way better than my office chair. The cover is soft and it sticks in chair perfectly. I think it’s about a 3 hour at a time by I have major pain issues. Not too bulky either.

Total life changer, well at least Post-Partum. After having an episiotomy it was very difficult to sit on any surface. Spent the first few days laying down, that’s until I decided to get the donut. Very good investment. Not too soft, or too firm, just right. My biggest fear on buying this product was that it wasn’t going to stay firm, but have been using this on a regular basis for a few weeks now, and it is still as firm as the day I bought it.

The material is not great. It's more spongy than memory foam and that is not great for sitting on. It just gets flat when seated. I do, however, like the cover with the no slip grip on the bottom, very helpful.

I purchased this, and just returned it. It was so flat and the "cut out" areas were so minimal, this is totally useless for tailbone pain. After I discovered that, I looked some of the one star reviews and see many other people said exactly the same thing that I just experienced. What is so perplexing to me is how this cushion can have 403 "4 star" ratings average? I also noticed people saying that it stains light colored chairs! This product should not even be available for sale, there are already too many tail bone pillow options, and for this to be flat and ruin your chair - seems like a no brainer to stop selling it.

I purchased this cushion to do floor work in an "Aging Backwards" exercise routine. I like it because it's good to use as a head rest for some exercises, but it's extremely helpful to take the weight off the hips when doing leg lifts. It's firm and supportive, with a non-slip bottom and a soft velvet upper cover with a zipper - so I it can be removed and washed if necessary. It's lightweight, so I can travel with it. It looked like one of the better choices from all that was available - and I'm delighted with it. I'd give it a 5 star rating because it's exactly what I need. You don't have hemorrhoids to benefit from its design!

I don't know whether to give this a 1 star or 5 star review because it was really pain relieving for a week and I loved it but then it flattened out and became useless. I'm a very slim female. What made this great for me was the fit and it alleviated my piriformis pain. This might be too small for some people. FWIW, I'm buying another and I'm going to stitch them together once the new one flattens out. I would happily pay double for one like this that had more cushion.
