JS Sloane Medium Weight Brilliantine

My husband has been using this for years. It holds his super thick hair in place without being greasy, tacky, or shiny. Easy to work though his hair and it smells so good. We always say we’d love to see this scent in a man spray!

JS Sloane knows how to make a great product. What I liked:1. The medium weight hold is perfect for my hair which is not long, but not short either. It doesn't make my hair crunchy and it will HOLD2. The smell: it's nice, refreshing, but doesn't linger long(wish it did)3. The packaging: it's just a taste of vintage BarbershopOne negative:This is minor, but it's not the easiest brand to work with in your hands onto your hair. It drys rather quickly, so you need to do this fast.This is definitely the best Pomade I've used

JS Sloane is my new standby. Suggested by my barber, I am on my third jar since being introduced to the product line. Using only a small amount, I find it easy to apply and work with my bone-straight hair. The scent is fantastic too. My wife seems to really like the way my hair smells after I apply it. Comes out easy in the shower with no residue. Using too much however, may make your hair feel a bit greasy. It depends on your style though. If you want to control your hair with a nice short cut, this is for you.

This stuff is brilliant! My barber suggested and it works wonders! I don't have a whole lot of hair but this still does wonders for what I do have. It has a nice hold, it even smells good. It rinses out easily as well. I'm super pleased and will continue to use this product.

Works good for my 30's-40's German hairstyle. I love this product and it is one of the best I have used. For the price, you cannot go wrong. If looking for a more wet-look, this also works good for keeping the sides in place without looking greasy. Great for blonde hair chaps like me. Shipping was quick and I have no complaints. Love the styling of the container and paper on it as well.

This is very good gel. They suggested it at my barber and they use it all the time for pompadours and other hairstyles that require a lot of hold and flexibility with the product. It smells great and holds all day as long as you do not touch it.It has a pink consistency and doesn't clump as well. Easy to apply to damp hair and dry.

I love this stuff. My hair is unruly and this glues it down pretty well without looking like helmet head. it does feel a little waxy and sticky if you run your fingers through your hair when you first put it on, but later in the day it doesn't. Nice smell, too. Doesn't seem to leave any residue on my pillow.

Great hold. I like the matte finish. It holds all day and washes out easily. It has an ambiguous sweet smell that somewhat resembles gummy bears. I'm switching from American Crew products (after 10+ years) to JS Sloane.
