Stained Glass Making Basics: All the Skills and Tools You Need to Get Started Kindle Edition

I just got into stained glass and have bought several books. This one is one of the better ones. It has a lot of information.

I got excited by the length of the book hoping for an in-depth compendium on technique. But much of it is a step by step focus on a few projects. The photo, in the Kindle version, are enlarged past their proper resolution, at leas on an iPad Pro. I'm sure they'd look better on an iPhone. The parsing is miserable on a Kindle as well, most of the descriptive titles are on one page, the relevant image on another.I dinged one star for the content not being as extensive as hoped, the other star for the interuptive parsing and lack of image clarity. That said, the images are good enough to construct the projects.If you are new to working with your hands and favor a project approach to getting started, the basic narative of this book will suffice. This is especially true if you're looking for ebooks, there surprisingly doesn't seem to be much choice.

My husband has wanted to get into stained glass for many years. He finally has the time and so he got this book. He says it is great for a beginner and has excellent information.

I love this book! It’s comprehensive, including full chapters on tools and types of glass. Then, step by step instructions lead you through creating gorgeous pieces using different techniques. Really helped to give a newbie like me confidence! Highly recommend!!

I brought this book For my daughter it made a great gift easy to follow instructions the patterns are beautiful I can't wait to see what she makes

The directions are easy to understand and I enjoy seeing how everything looks finished.

This book was more to my liking and really made me want to start this craft.

Love the fact everything is in color, easy to follow instructions with pictures on how to do, works great for the visual learner.

As a beginner in stained glass making I found this book to be very helpful. Everything is explained in simple steps with clear photos and it has given me the confidence to embark on some of the projects. Highly recommended.

This is a great book for someone starting out. Very well illustrated - with clear explanations. Several projects are used to pictorially demonstrate some of the different techniques. Very good.

This book is first class. It explains everything at a beginner level. Very many small pictures guide you every step of the way, and there are some nice projects to try out, in increasing difficulty. And very reasonably priced!

Lots of good photographs, well structured. YouTube is better.
