Are they the best stiles on the market? No. But for the price they will serve you well. Once adjusted I was surprised by how stable they are. I used them confidently with minimal chafing or balance issues. If I had one complaint it would be the same I have with every pair of stilts: what’s with the buckles? Please give me velcro, padding, literally any other design than the cheap metal buckles everyone uses. Alas, I can dream. I will also add that I compared these stilts to a name-brand pair I bought from a supplier and there literally indistinguishable.

I've been hanging ceiling grid for 15 years. My father gifted his dura stilts to me 10 years ago. I used them to the point that they are no longer functional. Hence why I had to buy a new pair. These stilts are perfect for the price. Arrived quickly. The wing nuts lock tight. I am 6'-2" tall. And was able to drop ceiling tile in a 10'-6" Ceiling. It was a stretch but still possible. These stilts are light weight. And completely functional. The only con to these stilts are the straps. I've had them for a few months now and the straps are starting to go out. The rivets on the heel and toe strap are starting to come undone. Also the calf straps don't sentch tight enough or stay tight. Constantly having to retighten the calf straps. But all around a functional product.

UPDATE: I bought these in January, it is now April. (I've worn them may be a total of ten times?) One of the springs legit just popped out while I was on them the other day. They're in such a tricky spot and I haven't had any success being able to replace it/put it back - and it's looking like I'll have to buy a new pair. VERY DISAPPOINTING AND DANGEROUS :( First pair of stilts, work fine by all accounts as far as I'm aware. A bit squeaky. My only complaint...for being about $30 more than the others...I was hoping the upper leg strap would hold better but it doesn't. It comes lose after walking around for five minutes and when I try to get it really tight and secure it won't hold so there's always at least a half inch gap between my leg and the pole/padding. This makes it more unstable to walk in. I'm gonna buy a velcro strap to replace it, hoping that does the trick, but that'll be another $40 :(

I must of caught an Amazon or vendor worker on a bad day; these stilts were loosely tossed in a giant oversized box with no packaging, probably enough room for (4) sets of stilts in that box if packed neatly and with some Styrofoam. The poor packaging caused them to bang around and scratch themselves all up. They were definitely made of aluminum and somewhat light for their size, so I was surprised to see corrosion on the surface already. The foot straps fit snugly, but the leg strap would not stay tightened. If my next set had the same style straps, I'd probably replace them to ensure they don't loosen during wear. It would have also been nice to have some instructions to explain how to adjust the springs. I ended up finding instructions on Youtube for a different set, but would have been nice to get that with this expensive of a product. I suspect this may have been a return. Some bubble wrap or paper would have easily provided some moderate protection; not the typical attention-to-detail I normally see from Amazon packages.

Assembly was straightforward & the user guide was also helpful. I highly recommend that you practice using the stilts in a fail-safe manner before you try to walk across open spaces. One way is to use two 8 ft. step ladders set close together and threaded with some stiff boards set high enough to sit on and strap on the silts. The ladders should be set close together at first so that you can catch either ladder should you loose your balance (like training wheels). You should launch off the boards holding the top of one of the step ladders. Do small laps around the ladders at first until you gain confidence (you may need to use the ladders to help maintain your balance at first). As you gain confidence (where you no longer need to grab the top of either step ladder with each pass) increase the ladder separation to lengthen the laps . When you can confidently walk around the ladders at a large separation distance (without grabbing either ladder) you will have walking problem largely solved. Item to note - always keep your stilt "feet" separated, if you don't you will loose your balance.

Worked great. Just a few minutes of assembly and away you go.
