Trick Or Treat Studios Halloween 1978 Michael Myers Mask White

Great mask, its fantastic quality and looks like it came straight out the film. Highly recomend.

This is a good mask and it gets the job done flawlessly. It held up really well for my trick or treating it's perfect on my face. And it looks really good.

I’m 6ft 1in 270 pounds and literally had people crossing the street, jumping, making comments like “stay away from me” lol. So many compliments on how authentic the mask looked. So many people asking to take pictures with me.

Michael Myers 1978 Trick-Or-Treat Studios mask is definitely worth the buy. These particular masks they do average around $60 apiece and in my opinion they are definitely worth it. Because I have a big head I was a little hesitant on how it would actually fit and to my surprise upon looking at it what really took me by surprise was how dark the hair is and I wasn’t a major issue to me it looks fantastic. I tried on the mask and it fits like a charm. If it is absolutely quite well on my head. Now I will tell you this I also have a Trick-Or-Treat Studios version of the 2018 Michael Myers mask and that one does not fit my head or it can be extremely tight if you are force it on your head and I tried it and it is too tight so I don’t actually wear it. There are some discrepancies when it comes to Trick-Or-Treat Studios and their masks as they did have a tendency to have certain flaws as they are in fact mass-produced. Now there are in fact some high and Michael Myers masks that will cause your pretty penny and they are usually handcrafted by individuals. Trick or Treat Studios used to be like the until they got extremely popular and now the area mass-produced. With this in mind there was only really one flaw that I noticed it was in fact the paint scheme underneath the chin was a little yellow. In most cases people will eventually paint their masks as that’s what they do, but for me I will have a problem with the way it looks and looks pretty sitting on my shelf. The quality of the past is definitely spot on it has a decent thickness to so you can apply a little pressure in stretching without actually tearing like a cheap mask would. If you want to invest roughly around $60 in a mask like this it is worth it as it does look pretty decent for the most part.

I’m certain like many of you, I also heard the horror stories about this seller and others while also spending countless hours searching both Amazon and eBay for a reliable description. This mask is shockingly hard to find reliably online, so I took a gamble with Trick or Treat Studios and I’d say it paid off for me. It looks exactly like the 1978 mask, except for the hair. The hair is a bit too “neat” than depicted in the stock photo. However it’s worth remembering that when filming the original movie, the filmmakers had to ruffle up the hair manually, which is what I ended up doing. The rest of the mask is pretty spot on. Also our memories of that original mask are often obscured by the incredible lighting department of the filmmakers (and the positive emotions created because of it). In the end, this gets the job done really well and doesn’t at all look like those crazy cheap knockoff masks. For such a simple design, even Hollywood couldn’t replicate the look of that original mask for practically all of the Halloween sequels. The only other film to have the original mask was Halloween II, and the reason it looks different is because the person wearing it wasn’t the same as in the original film. If indecision is killing you (like it was for me), just go with ToTS’s mask here. It’s a gamble but you have better odds with this than the other sellers in my opinion.

Great mold and shape. Fits my head perfectly, looks even better after adding a little velcro to hold the back flaps together and get a tighter neck fit. I can see out of the eyes very well, and can even see left and right because it fits so well. The color and hair - blue bleeds through quite a lot, and the hair is horrible with huge bald patches you can't cover. There is some "dirt" painted on too, but very little, and you don't really notice it. Looks pretty good from the front if you're not close enough to see the blue tint. Hair definitely needs some work. Blue color is probably fine unless you're up close in the daytime, but would really look amazing if you painted white and added some grunge yourself. Happy with the purchase for the price - it's a quality mask except for the hair.

It is pretty cool. I was a little worried since the reviews didn't give it justice. But it was a Christmas gift for a true fan of the original so really it is up to him. But I do really like it

This mask is phenomenal, it looks exactly like the original 1978 mask. A feat that even the Halloween sequels were not able to manage until 2018. It is important to check the seller when buying as there are many fake Chinese knockoffs being sold. I used SOTA organisation Ltd who were very helpful and pleasant to deal with. I actually did get worried I'd ordered one of the cheap fake ones but I messaged the seller and they assured me the mask I had purchased was an official Trick or Treat Studios mask. Who, incidentally, are actually owned by one of the mask makers of the recent Halloween movies and it really shows. Now there are a few minor problems with the mask itself. The hair isn't great and will require fixing and the paintwork can vary in quality but this is to be expected from even the best mass produced latex mask. It's also easily fixable using just some cheap acrylic paint mixed with latex. There are many YouTube videos that will help should you need it. In conclusion this mask is the only movie accurate 1978 Michael Myers mask that has ever been made and is well worth the £60 asking price. DO ensure you check the sellers before buying however. Sota organisation Ltd sells the real TOTS mask and I believe a few other sellers do to but best to check anyway.

Ótima máscara, bem parecida com a do filme

Habe mir die Maske für mein Halloween Kostüm und danach auch als Sammlerstück als Micheal Myers Fan bestellt. Die Maske macht einen sehr hochwertigen Eindruck und kommt sehr nah an die original Maske aus dem Film von 1978. Trick or Treat Studios hat auf jeden Fall einen guten Job gemacht. Allerdings ist die Maske aus riesig. Ich hatte eine Büroklammer verwendet um sie beim Tragen, hinten etwas enger zu machen, damit sie nicht die ganze Zeit herumrutscht. Fazit: Ich finde die Maske wirklich toll und sie steht jetzt in meinen Horror-Regal. 😁👍🏻
