Good replacement for an aging SuperDrive in my MBP

I bought this to replace the aging SuperDrive in my 2009 13" MBP. Following the guides on iFixit I was able to complete the replacement in <10 minutes. The drive isn't as smooth when loading and ejecting discs, and definitely is not the same quality level as the original SuperDrive. Once installed I encountered some odd system error dialogs while playing DVD's for the first time, but since that first reboot I've not seen them again. My assumption is the drivers for the drive were not quite ready until I rebooted the MBP again (10.9).
