Been using this for years and love it. I have really oily skin but can also dry out easily. This is great for my skin and cleans well without drying it out too much.

I bet it have tried 20 different acne facial washes. I have spent hundreds of dollars. I bought the most expensive, the cheapest, best reviews, and everything in between. Let me tell you,,, this stuff WORKS!!! I have stubborn acne in my 50's because of medication. I am so happy I found this face wash! It is by far the best cleasner I have ever had! Works better than I expected.

While it's important to me that my products are cruelty free and relatively clean, if your product has parabens in it (there's methylparaben in the ingredients) then you need to clean up a little bit more. I feel that you shouldn't put anything on your body that you wouldn't put in your body. These products are great. My daughter uses the acne wash and my other daughter and I use the enzyme cleanser and we've been really happy with it. I don't want to stop using it but I don't want anything unhealthy on our bodies. Can't you preserve this product in a better way? This product does not foam and it does not need it. That's how you know it's not tearing your skin to pieces. Still works.

Lately my skin has just become riddled with pimples. Some whiteheads but for the most part, painful cysts, below the skin, that would last for weeks on end. It was as if I was going through a second round of puberty, but worse. My skin had gotten to be worse then it had ever been in my entire life. I tried many different washes: Neutrogena, Clinique, etc. Nothing seemed to make a difference that made me feel like things were improving in the way I wanted. I happened to come across this skincare line and read good reviews, so I figured I had nothing to lose and decided to try it. I went to their website to determine which of their products would be best for me. I have combo skin type; dry in some places, but greasy in the T zone. When first using the product, I noticed the smell. It is a bit strong, but at the same time, very clean and fresh smelling. It has a thin gel consistency, and doesn't foam up much. After rinsing it off, my skin felt rejuvenated. It did not feel tight in the dry places, and my greasy areas felt nice and cleansed. I have been using this for about a week, and I already feel so much better about my where my skin is at. I only have a few small, barely noticeable pimples, that are more on the surface, rather than the deep, cystic ones. I use the wash twice a day, morning and night. I am very happy with my purchase, and am excited to continue to use this wash to hopefully see continued results. I would definitely recommend trying out this cleanser to anyone looking for a solution to their acne.

My face has always been super sensitive and oily at best. But since using this product my face has improved. It doesn’t burn, has a slight smell but it’s a good one. I used to use it 2 a day but I cut it down to once a day and my skin is just flourishing.

This is a good product but not a good cleanser. The texture of Mario Badescu Acne Facial is more like a gel than a cleanser ( this product don't foam). I was using it as my main cleanser and didn't clean my face at all, it clogged my pores, specially if you are prone to acne and want a cleanser than at the end of the day can deep clean your face full of make up. Now, here is the good part of this product, good ingredients and a gentle way to apply salicylic acid to your face prone to acne. After I clean my face ( with another cleanser) I apply Mario Badescu Acne Facial and leave it for 2 minutes, the smell is pleasant and my face feel refresh and ready for a toner. This product is similar than "Yes To Tomatoes Acne Daily Repair Treatment", but Mario Badescu is more gentle.

I have had good skin most of my life. Hell, my skin is gorgeous. Hollywood gorgeous. Everyone says it. And by everyone, I mean everyone. Dermatologists have told me "keep doing whatever it is you're doing." People think I'm in college even though I'm 40. Think of a doll that just left the Lladro factory. I covet no one's skin. That said, spotaneously, one winter my forehead broke out with tiny little bumps. I thought it might have been an infection. These bumps resisted for months everything in my arsenal--Retin A, Salycylic acid peels, 10% glycolic peels, penzoyl peroxide, etc. My dermatologist's PA recommended a glycolic wash. This was the first glycolic wash that I tried and the tiny little bumps resolved within a week. Nothing will solve all of your skin issues but this wash is an inexpensive addition to your medicine cabinet and is highly effective. Does it burn your eyes? Hell to the yeah! Close your eyes and rinse, man-baby!!
