As a breastfeeding mama, these made the transition so much easier, since they had a wide nipple base, and shorter nipple length! The wash great by hand. But the bottles and nipples turn yellow if you wash them in the dishwasher. And with them being wider in general, they were so much easier for the baby to old!! So they worked very well for me and my kids

I ordered the 12OZ fast flow wide bottles. My son has been drinking the narrow bottles for 9 months and I thought he'd have a hard time transitioning. Not only does he drink just fine but he is finally able to hold the bottle himself thanks to it's wideness. It's really easy to clean and i've had no problems with leaks; like some people are saying. My baby doesn't get gassy. The bottles filter the bubbles just fine. The lid is very sealed and tight. I 10000% recommend Avima bottles over Dr.Brown bottles as Dr.Brown bottles leak in the lid when you shake it and there's more parts to it. Here's a size reference of the two bottles.
