Great boot but I would say very very expensive you ...
Great boot but I would say very very expensive you can get the pronghorns or another type of Danner boots for half the price and get a new pair of boots every year I know you can have them resold with that's $100 every time and then you have to take it to the shoe guy and wait a week I wish the footbeds were better there is not much arch support orthotics are cheap that come with it I had to buy some and then I love the boot

Very Narrow, great boot.
I'm a retired State Trooper. My last pair of Danner's held up while on the job and well into my retirement (12 years). The sole finally blew out and that style was not repairable. Picked these out. I think the entire boot runs very narrow. Maybe Danner should consider making them wider. I have never had a wide shoe in my life but the wide here fits well. They are new so I may add more later. For now, warm, dry, and light. I'm very impressed so far.

Great All Around Hunting Boot I’m through the breakin period ...
Great All Around Hunting BootI’m through the breakin period and am extremely happy with the boot. I opted for the EE (wide) version and they fit true to size with a standard merino liner and boot sock setup. Good ventilation and definitly waterproof. Also Danner is a first rate company and stand behind their products.

Appears to be all I hoped for from Danner.
I’ve only had them for two weeks but so far they appear to be a good boot. I don’t feel like it took any time to break them in as I’ve experienced with some other boots I have owned in the past. They fit my feet as I hoped they would, so I would say they are true to size from the manufacture. I also own a pair of Danner Canadian boots that I have had for well over ten years. I hope these will perform as well as those have.

Nice fit good boot.
Good boot fits well. Only giving it 4 starts due to the fact that I haven’t broken them in yet and still are a lil stiff but there are losen up after a few wears. I knew when I bought them they took a lil to break in. I’m sure after they break in they’ll will be great

Nice boots!
It's a quality pair of boots. I wear Danner almost exclusively for hunting, working, and just hanging around. They're pretty pricey as far as boots go, but I like the way they fit. The Cordura material feels pretty rugged and the plastic orthotic inserts are surprisingly comfortable, but I stuck a Dr. Scholls insert and now the boots feel superb. As far as breaking them in, it'll take a few days if you wear them to work, probably less if you take them to the field, but after they're broken in they're very flexible and cradle your feet wonderfully. The breaking in period is not painful or difficult like USMC jungle boots back in the '80s to give those of you who know a baseline on which to compare the process. Good boots.

Best boots ever!
This is my second pair of Sierras. I'll have my first pair re-crafted if possible. After 10 years and about 26 million miles trekked in ALL types of terrain, the leather cracked near the base of the laces. I prefer the cordura over the all leather boot. All leather plus 200 grams of Thinsulate makes for a sweaty foot in the summer, and a stinky boot. But the cordura breathes, and my old Sierras never got stinky (I wore them throughout the summers). Plus, they are so comfortable!!! I also think the leather of the Sierra is of higher quality than the all leather Danners, as they did niot scratch or lose color nearly as quickly. And the Cordura seems to be indestructible. If you're only going to buy one pair of boots to hike and work in (I'm a surveyor on transmission lines), this should be your pick!

High quality Danner boots made in the USA
Bought those one to replace a previous pair a Danner that I had for 8 years, and are still great but now need to be resoled. The craftsmanship of those boots is simply incredible, they are very comfortable and the break-in period in very short. However, the Vibram Sierra outsole that is on this model become very hard and slippery in cold winter weather; but that can also be a positive quality, because they might be harder to wear out in temperate climate.Danner is not the manufacturer of the outsole and they offer many other model of boots with different Vibram sole. And yes I would recommend those boots to anyone that love high quality product, and I myself intend to continue to purshase Danner boots in the future.
