It can hold items that a bench vise can’t, it has a long link chain to hold the item. It fastens nicely to the edge of a steel or wooden bench. I use it to hold starters and different outdrive parts. It works great and makes my job a lot easier.Good product I recommend it.

I used vise to secure drop pipe from dropping back into well casing while I changed a pipe fitting. The lock for chain and spinning handle made it easy to secure. This definitely works much better and much safer than using a pipe wrench and channel locks. I highly recommend product.

Needs assembly upon arrival, can be a bit tricky to figure out how to best mount to the included receiver plate. All the hardware is included however. I would recommend this product to someone who wants the ability to store the entire assembly in work van out of the way

don't understand the round thingslook like would use for bending pipe but do not line up to usewish I would have done this years agofasten on back of truck for pipe jobs
