Q: Does this have a smell to it?

It has a pretty nice scent, kind of like a cigar box type smell.

Q: What material is the bottle plastic or pressurized metal?

The bottle is metal (recyclable) but NOT pressurized. Therefore you can easily unscrew the top and transfer some to a smaller travel size (which I’ve done). On another note, this product is fantastic! I’m about to buy my third bottle. Best salt spray I’ve ever used (and I’ve tried lots).

Q: Will this spray hold my hair firm/strong in place?

This product really isn't like a traditional firm hold hairspray. It does hold hair in place and gives it a really nice, smooth texture without putting a lot of build up in the hair. I spray it on and use a hairdryer to finish styling my hair. I've used different brands of sea salt spray and this, by far, is the very best I've used. Additionally, the price is very reasonable compared to other brands. I give it top marks.
