after being very, very cautious on the third time install the rubber slides off the outside of the seal like as though its not vulcanized. I'm at my wits end with this. They worked fine on my freightliner box, so I know they work. There is no burred edge but it will not slide past the snap ring groove.

I peeled the rubber on the outside of the seal twice leaving me with a leak. Compare dormans seal with the original. Dorman is all metal with rubber coating, original has a rubber skirt on the bottom that will deform to get past the snap ring shelf without peeling. I do not recommend this kit for that reason.
