SPITZ Smoky Sunflower Seed, BBQ, 6-Ounce (Pack of 12)

These are the best barbecue seeds on the market. The initial flavor is a punch of sweet barbecue. My first order was a pack of 12 and I’m already two packs down. Makes such a great snack while at work or at home. Highly recommend.

I used to eat these religiously back when the packaging was brown. They were my go-to snack—flavorful, satisfying, and always consistent. But the batch I received this time was a complete letdown. The seeds are noticeably smaller, and the flavor is dull and underwhelming compared to what I remember. It’s just not the same quality I fell in love with. Honestly, it feels like a totally different product now. Actually ate a few seeds that tasted so bad so I started being more cautious and that’s when I found this larva.I’ve never in my life inspected sunflower seeds until today. I usually pack a handful into my mouth and no issues but this…. I just cannot.

I always enjoy these. You have to watch though to get a good deal, because the price is all over the place. This time it worked out to buy three to get free shipping and a lower price. As fast as I go through them, I don't have to worry about them getting old.

What I dislike is the fact they don't have anymore ! I just love these ! When they come back in stock, I will order more !

Spitz BBQ seeds are THE absolute best. I used to be a hardcore David’s fan until discovered this brand.

I'm a regular seeder and I've tried most major brands (David, Bigs, Giant, Jim Beam, Frito Lay, and now Spitz). I must say the the Spitz brand are my favorite because the shells seem a little harder and crack smoother (which means less splintering and getting slivers of shell in my gums). The shells are also a little shorter/smaller than other brands but the seeds seem to be the same size. The seeds also have a nice roasted flavor to them.The only downside to the Smoky BBQ flavor is that they are a little light on the BBQ seasoning. I would prefer a little more seasoning but it's probably better from a health stand point (less seasoning probably means less sodium). Another plus to having less seasoning is that your mouth is less raw after snacking on seeds for a couple hours.All in all, a great seed. If you're unsure, pick up a single bag at your local 7-11 before ordering the 12 pack here.
