Amazing value and performance
Brilliant little hotspot device. In a field miles from anywhere and 4 other campers are using it (in exchange for beers) as they have no phone signal. I use it in the car to run my android head unit and so far it's been faultless. Easy login web interface to change passwords etc... And with SMARTY being one of the cheapest and best networks no brainer. Has a WPS button too which is a real bonus. Average 6 hrs battery with 4 devices connected streaming music on one. Very happy campers.

Brilliant little gadget!
Simple to use, great signal, fast/normal speed and only had a slower speed on internet once so far ( on a bad weather day when I was at a remote location), so am really impressed! Very handy especially when travelling with kids ‘needing’ internet…Very glad I bought it, don’t know why I didn’t sooner!

No problem, good signal
Used a 3 sim and it's a good connection, would have given 5 stars if the battery lasted longer,

Just wow
Why do people need expensive contracts when this just does its thingSign up for the unlimited contract. Am well happy. I bought for my motorhome but it’s that good I use it at home. Damn I need two now 🚐😱❤️

Great device but disappointing speed
Great device, is doing what I need it to do. But the speed is perplexing. With an EE SIM card in my phone, I get 100Mb speeds or more measured using Ookla speedtest. With an EE SIM card in this ZTE device, running speedtest against the same server tops out at 30Mb. Why ?? Anyway it is fast enough for the moment, but just be aware that there seems to be some hardware limitation in this device around speed. You might not get the fast 4G speeds you are expecting.

Perfect solution to homes with no internet
This was a bargain for £35.99 and was so easy to setup. It looks good quality, is easy to understand and doesn't even need any instructions in the box. Just stick your data SIM in, the box will connect to the internet, connect your device to the WiFi signal and you're good to go.I bought this to put my new Smarty SIM in, however it also arrives with one in case you don't already have a SIM. This will work with all networks though, if you already have a SIM.If you connect to 192.168.0.1 and type the password as admin, you can monitor the settings, data usage, etc.I've installed this in my Mother-in-law's house. She doesn't have internet, however we wanted to setup a tablet for her to video call on during the Coronavirus lockdown. This is perfect. I've used some double sided adhesive rubber strips to fix it to the wall in the front room. It looks like a heating monitor (or similar device) when wall mounted. I've then permanently fitted a micro usb cable to it and plugged it in. This is the perfect solution to our needs as the grandkids can now video chat to her. Smarty do a 30gb internet deal for £10; it's like a hybrid between contract and SIM - like a pay as you go contract.

Would leave ZERO stars if I could....
This device is a sham. Took almost 6 hours for it to receive any signal the first time and then worked inconsistently for the next 3 days before entirely just stop working. No signal anymore for past 2 days and the signal bar is just on red desipite there being over 20GB loaded on the sim. I’ve only had it for a week and it’s been of no use so I will be returning asap. AVOID! Cheap and USELESS!

Excellent device
Brilliant little device and well worth the good value price. Whilst I already have a Tplink mifi, I purchased this due to the cheap price of the Zte and the fact that I can use it with a “micro sim” (instead of a nano or standard) from Three Mobile which saves me using a sim adapter. The Tp link cost twice as much, but comparing them side by side, they both work exactly the same. The app also works well and I am really pleased with this purchase. Before buying, I did check out the Amazon review by “taking it easy” which I found extremely useful - many thanks.
