This Nestl Reading Pillow fits my needs exactly. It expanded quite a bit once out of the vacuum sealed package. It's firm, so it provides a lot of support, and the arms curve around nicely, so it's easy to prop my arms on them. The material is soft & velvety and the color is a nice chocolate brown.

LOOOOOOVE this pillow - I’ve been searching for a reading and lounge pillow and found this one. I read the reviews - a few concerning ones - but found one woman’s review that talked about taking the time to really separate the internal foams strips. The instructions do say this, but not to the level of detail she talked about. Upon arrival, I opened it and took about 20 minutes really massaging the pillow - you can feel the foam slices separate. Almost immediately it was tall and sturdy. The top pillow did take the full 2 days to puff up; but it did! The photo attached was taken 2 days later from arrival and opening and this pillow is fully expanded! The thickness works well for lounging in bed or on the floor, with or without a wall or such support. I love the cup holders and additional storage pockets for my journal and notebooks. The material is soft and creates a sense of comfort and coziness. Great find!

I, like many other reviewers, needed a pillow to help me sleep propped up due to a surgery and other health reasons. The delivery came within 3 days of ordering, just in time for when I needed it. I've noticed a few negative reviews are complaints that the foam isn't expanding. If you've never ordered memory foam from Amazon, it's pretty understandable why you'd be frustrated, especially if you don't know how to fluff it so it properly expands. I thought I would offer a few tips so people could know exactly what to do. The photos are from 10 minutes after opening the box, and I opened it about 2 minutes after it was delivered. My personal review comes after the tips, if you'd rather skip to that. 1. It's best to open it ASAP. This gives the best chance of it being able to expand how you are probably expecting it to. 2. The filling is shredded memory foam. This is what keeps the product relatively low-cost. It's also why full-foam products are more expensive. It's just easier to fill a pillow with shredded foam than making a foam insert that fits the cover. Other reviewers have posted photos of the inside, so you can get an idea of what it looks like. 3. When you take it out of the box, it will probably feel a bit lumpy, but mostly solid. The package is vacuum sealed, so all the foam is mushed together. You need to thoroughly fluff the pillow so that the shredded pieces can separate, allowing each of them to expand. If you don't, it's highly likely that a lot of pieces will sorta stick together, making it feel more lumpy and look a bit..pathetic. 4. Foam needs air to expand. Hence why in #3 you need to make sure the shredded pieces both have room to expand, and are able to get enough air to. 5. To fluff, I recommend starting from the bottom of the pillow (the neck pillow is a single piece of foam, as opposed to shredded, and the cylindrical leg pillow is small, so it's way easier to fluff). You can open the cover and the insert to allow more air in, but you run the chance of a few shredded pieces getting out and making a mess (I think another reviewer posted what this mess can look like). You'll then need to whack the pillow on each side, near the joint where each arm piece is, and the arm pieces. The arm pieces will feel a bit floppy, so you might need to "push" some foam there from the outside of the insert. The top where the handle is will need extra attention, as all the foam will fall to the bottom. You can flip the pillow over and whack it to knock some pieces towards the handle, but it won't be as fluffy as the bottom due to, you know, gravity. 5. If you spend like 5-10 minutes making sure the foam is separated, the pillow should expand pretty quickly, but I'd still let it sit for a few hours. By the time I've finished writing this review (which I began right after fluffing my pillow, so about 30 minutes after receiving it), it's already fluffed up to my expectations. 6. I didn't notice a smell, but I don't notice many smells. Foam is stinky. Fluff/air it out properly and after a few days an scent should dissipate. Actual review time: Since I just received it, I will update the review in about a week (on 5/25/21) if anything significant changes. If not, well then it's a pretty dang good deal. For reference, I ordered the "Hot Pink" pillow, as I was trying to find something that matched my couch a bit. It doesn't, since my couch is more magenta and the pillow is a very bold hot pink/fuchsia, but it's the perfect color for me regardless. I turned off any filters on my phone to try to get an accurate photo of the color, but my iPhone 7 supersaturated it with a slight aura anyway. I do recommend this color if you're looking for a hot pink, but not if you just want a plain or blush pink. The fabric is soft and comfortable, but it does feel a bit cheap. I was anticipating this, but I don't think it will cause a problem anytime soon. There were a few threads sticking out from some seams that were a bit annoying. I really like the pockets on the arms. I read on my phone at night and tend to fall asleep holding it, so sometimes I end up dropping it on the floor and probably wake up my downstairs neighbors. Usually I try to tuck my phone under my pillow, but having the pockets will be super useful. I gave it 4 stars because it's not a super high-quality, absolutely flawless item, but that's okay. I also don't trust 5-star reviews anymore.

My son is on the military but also does online college so I bought this for his military dorm. He says it’s so comfortable and holds up nicely.

I love this! Super firm with great back support! I use this every day as a back support pillow to watch tv & use it with my heating pad & I love it! My son has one at his house & loves his so I ordered one for me before I got home! These are nothing like the old school pillows & are super firm, hold their shape and are solid! I wrap my heating pad around it & I use this pillow every day because I love it so much! The side pockets are neat too - perfect for remote and heating pad controller.

It's so big and stiff it's not comfortable. It took about a week to really fluff up right after opening it. I was hoping i would lay on it and it would support my back while reading but it actually does not. It makes you sit straight up and there's no back support at all and the head rest is too forward.. it's all wrong. I don't get it. The headrest does come off it makes more sense that way. Maybe you have to be a tiny person. I'm 5'9" so idk.

I have hEDS, an autoimmune disease that causes a lot of chronic pain (particularly in neck and back). I’m always in discomfort. This husband pillow is a great alternative to buying a new set of furniture! I use it on the couch, the bed, and the recliner. I’ve tried several other brands and they were all too hard or too soft, but this bad boy is just right. I LOVE that you can adjust support by removing foam. That feature is imperative for true comfort. The more I use it, the more it contours to my body, the more comfortable it gets. Excellent price and size! I got the standard size, I’m 4’11” and 110lbs, and it’s a fantastic fit for me. I love the side pockets to keep my lotion and remote for easy access, but they can fit a lot more! My iPad mini fits great. The cover is so super soft and easily removable for wash. It’s extremely easy to spot clean as well. It only took 24 hours for mine to rise completely, but I also put it on low tumble dry for 20 minutes immediately after receiving it. I put the extra foam I removed in a plastic bag, just in case I need it in the future.

Absolutely love! It was a lifesaver for me post surgery when I was on bedrest only for 2 weeks..love the lumbar pillow and the cup holders were great..super comfy, highly recommend!

This provides sufficient support and can sit daily upright. But it does need a back support otherwise I think the person will topple over with the pillow.

This product is definitely worth its price! Comfy, well made and good quality. It comes with pockets and a headrest that is removable and an extra lumbar pillow.

Cumple lo que dice que hace, solo no mencionan el procedimiento para desempacar lo aparte de una impresión en la misma bolsa con instrucciones medio escuetas pero entendibles, menciona que después de sacarlo de su bolsa al vacío hay que darle dos días de reposo mientras cada cierto tiempo darle una apachurrada o acolchada para que vaya tomando aire y regresando a la forma que prometen; también tiene un olor recién desempacando que se desaparece también a los 2 o 3 días. Fuera de eso es razonablemente rígido después de los dos días y para sentarse en la cama o usarlo de reposador de pies está muy cómodo.

Es una almohada muy práctica para leer o simplemente estar viendo la televisión. Permite comodidad por el estilo que tiene y cuenta con un buen soporte en todo la zona de la espalda y los antebrazos. Me gustó que cuenta con bolsas laterales para guardar cosas pequeñas, al igual que hay una bolsa posterior a la almohada para guardar documentos.
