I purchased this because I am a nurse not a bad product, however a little pricey

It's a great value. My nursing school was offering pins for us to purchase for the pinning ceremony at the cost of $70.00 or more. This pin was such a good deal. It may not be sterling silver, but it serves the purpose and looks pretty good too! I have no use for a pin after the ceremony so to spend $70.00 for a one day use felt wasteful. This pin is a great find.
