This is a great little box for organizing your batteries and keeping them in a drawer or on a shelf. The negative reviews I saw complained that it was not right for other purposes like camping or traveling, and it's not. The lid doesn't latch, so the batteries could fall out if the box is tipped. The batteries do not have separate little holders, so they do slide or fall over in their little allotted compartments. But...If you have a junk drawer or a box with a bunch of batteries stuffed into it and you want to organize your drawer or closet, this is great! You can easily see what you have and it holds an ample supply of batteries - not an entire store's worth of batteries, as many of the other cases hold. That said, the batteries sliding around and falling over is a little annoying, but that's not a show-stopper.I was so happy with this box that I decided to rearrange my junk drawer to give it the best position possible. And I also ordered a few more batteries....

I love that I don't have random batteries rolling around in a drawer anymore! I can clearly see my inventory and if any battery sizes need to be replenished. As others have stated, it is annoying the the smaller batteries don't fit perfectly and therefore you have extra space that makes them wobble and tip over. But, overall I'm quite happy with the purchase!

This is a good general organizer for batteries, but the AAA space especially doesn't fit the batteries. It's too wide so the batteries keep falling over - the length is in between 5 and 6 batteries wide and the dividers aren't very deep, so those look sloppy. It works for the larger size batteries though and fits enough to have a good stock on hand.

Wanted something to keep my son’s batteries for his insulin pump. This is perfect the two sizes he uses fit perfectly. Would buy again if needed.

I love this little case! We use it for its intended purpose - batteries - and it works perfectly. I don't think you could really use it for anything else considering that each compartment is only big enough for its intended battery size. I especially appreciate the fact that the designers took into account most frequently used sizes vs other more obscure ones. There are significantly more AA and AAA than any others. Additionally, each compartment is clearly labeled to best support your organizational needs.I took off a star for sturdiness because when I first ordered this case, it arrived broken. The second one arrived in perfect condition. The case, obviously, can be broken where it opens but I don't forsee if falling apart with weekly use or anything like that. You really can't go wrong with anything made by mDesign.

This little organizer was a bit disappointing. The batteries don’t fit exactly, so there lots of extra room in each compartment, making them wiggle around a lot. But not enough room for another battery… it definitely looks better than having 10 Costco boxes but you will need 2-3 to hold a single Costco box. I like it better than the Battery Daddy looks wise.

I purchased this container for my office. This is a good solution for organizing a small amount of batteries. The box is sturdy and I like that it is clear plastic so I can easily see when we are running low. The only downside is that the lid closes but does not latch so you have to be mindful when picking it up when it's fully loaded with batteries.

I am not a container kind of girl. Like a clear container in your pantry labeled with “pasta” or “Cereal” kind of girl. Not at all. But. I bought a bunch of batteries a while back and then put them in a front closet and it was chaos. Like where did those D batteries go, I know I had some, then I would order more and then find them and would end up with so many batteries just floating around all sorts of places. This has totally fixed that. Everything lives in it’s own little comfy house with ease of access, the lid on top just lifts up, no having to click open something (so for those that may have dexterity issues… winner winner… I don’t but keep that in mind if you are). I love being able to see what I have and if I need more of something I won’t be down to 1 AAA battery for the remote replacement when I need two… I will know way in advance. Seriously. Can’t say enough about this. I thought for sure it was just some stupid thing that I will never appreciate. Wrong. Once I got all the batteries we use through out the house it was light a light shown down from above and was like “pow you are organized girl”. Also at 3 in the morning when inevitably the smoke detector battery goes off, we can quickly grab the 9 volt stored in there and get back to sleep quickly instead of having to hunt for the package hidden in the closet. It’s a miracle.And yes that is what precipitated the purchase… that alarm going off at 3 a.m. and not being able to find that extra battery I knew I had and couldn’t find, then couldn’t find a store open to get another one. Yep. That was us. Two problems solved, no more hunting for the batteries and always making sure the what we are now calling The Battery House is stocked.

This can be used for any other organizing purposes, not just batteries. I liked that all batteries fit and it takes less space than batteries in boxes. However, I did not like that the compartments for batteries are the right size. You can only fit 3 at a time but they wobble as there is extra space left in compartments but the space isn’t big enough to fit another batteries. I’m other words they aren’t snug to each other, they wobble a lot. I think compartments should be resized.

These little boxes are sturdy and do what they're supposed to do. I use them to store my rechargeable batteries in, but I'm sure there are a million uses for them. Not cheap, but they are sturdy and stackable so for me are worth the price.
