I was thrilled to find a less expensive version of eyelid lifting strips. My lids have fallen to the point I can no longer wear mascara and liner because my lashes are hidden beneath my lids—any makeup just disappears! It didn’t take much trial and error to get the strips placed. I use a dedicated set of tweezers (before using I cleaned with alcohol). The first thing I do is gently wipe my eyelid with a cotton swab or tissue. If my eyelid has lotion or makeup of any kind I wet the swab with a bit of toner, ensuring a clean and dry lid for the strip (be sure not to get anything in the eye). When placed, I can once again wear eye makeup :-). Btw, I can often feel the presence of the strips. It isn’t much of an annoyance and it helps remind me to remove before showering. The only downside is if I perspire, the strips will lose adhesion. So far there have been no embarrassing situations with the strips making themselves known. Overall, I’m thoroughly pleased!

I tried a style similar from a friend. I thought they made a nice improvement on my eye. I purchase these and the sticker does not remove from one side. Shows that they should have splits in which to separate the adhesive. They do not. So you’re left with one sticky side and one hard plastic side. I tried everything probably went through half of them trying to make them work. She sent a link I’m ordering hers.

A quick lift, but not always comfortable These eyelid tapes do what they promise in terms of creating a lifted, more open look to the eyes. The strips are thin and fairly invisible once placed correctly, and with some practice, they do make a noticeable difference for hooded lids. That said, they’re not the most comfortable to wear for long stretches. After a few hours, I could feel them tugging slightly, and removing them wasn’t the smoothest experience. They also take a bit of trial and error to apply evenly—sometimes they sit just right, other times it’s obvious something is on the lid. Bottom line: A decent option for a temporary eyelid lift if you’re patient with the application and don’t mind some minor discomfort, but not something I’d wear all day, every day.

Not useful enough

Hooded eyelids make applying eyemake up a challenge. Eye shadow is useless, mascara smears and eyeliner gets lost under lid folds. Hooded eyelids also age you. But, eyelid tapes come to the rescue! After a couple of attempts, I've found them easy to apply and the results are remarkable! You don't feel them at all after application. Removal is easy. The best part is visible eyelids! No more droopy eyes. Eyes appear bigger, brighter, and make up has surface to accent. Great product!

These are hard to maneuver into place. If you have to move them you lose adhesion. It’s like one and done. If you mess up you have to throw out and do over. The larger one is just 2 smalls with a seam in the middle that sometimes comes apart when trying to pull it off the paper to attach. It should be one piece. The seam also crumples in the eye crease. Biggest problem for me is small is too small and larger ones are not long enough or wide enough to hold all the hooded skin. If you have very hooded eyes like me these do not lift the entire lid and then the extra skin on the hood just comes right over once you blink and the lifted effect goes away. Unless there is a wider and longer one this doesn’t work foe a heavily hooded eye. The pictures I attached were 1)before and 2) right after attaching (looks good for a few seconds) and 3) a few seconds later the effect is gone and I just remove it and forget it. I’ve had these a few weeks now so have it time so I can try over and over to improve the technique but they just don’t work for heavy hooding.

Good for fine lines

It always folds over an edge. It is not invisible, and even when applied by a professional does not do what it says it does. Putting makeup over it makes even more visible. You have to blink, but as long as your eyes are wide open, assuming you could get it into the crease you need without sticking to itself, you MIGHT get away with it being non visible

Tape sticks well to skin but it was not transparent enough on my skin tone. The stickers are white. But good value for 300 pairs of eye tape.
