📚 Elevate Your Teaching Game with Every Sheet!
The School Smart Copier Film is a pack of 100 high-quality transparency sheets designed for use with overhead projectors. While compatible with copiers, it is not recommended for inkjet printers. This economical solution allows educators to create lesson plans and notes using dry-erase markers, ensuring durability and versatility in the classroom.

The said it couldn't be done.......
I am grateful to folks who had answered my question on whether or not this transparency film would work with my inkjet printer. Unfortunately, I had already ordered the film. So, naturally, I experimented with it, having been told that the ink most likely would not adhere to it. Well, all of you inkjet users, for the cost, I say try it! It is very true that the ink smears if touched when the film first exits the printer (I'm using an HP8500 series). However, I set mine aside, nothing touching it, and let it air dry. Since I was not in a hurry, I set it aside for about 20-30 minutes. Worked like a charm! So, if you are making single copies at a time, you are in luck. If you are making multiple copies, I don't think it will work for you because the ink will indeed just smear off when touched immediately after printing. One other note, I also took a piece of scrap paper and gently laid it on the almost dried page and pressed - the excess ink came off and did not smear. Finally, I found it helpful to empty my printer tray when using the film. I held my finger gently on the edge of the film, just to ensure that the printer would feed the film appropriately. After one or two experiments, I found this was not necessary. This transparency film was very much worth the price to me, and the seller was incredibly prompt.

I purchased this to print on some images for a Halloween project. I have an ink jet printer. The first attempt ended somewhat badly because I didn't let the ink dry as well. But the second time I let it dry for nearly an hour and then used a heat embossing gun to sort of merge the ink onto the paper better. This helped a bit to stop it from smudging. I had to roll the paper onto itself to place it into a glass ornament so it was tough to do this without it getting smudged. Worked well enough for what I needed it for. Don't know what I'm going to do with the other 98 pieces of paper. :)

Used in a Regular Printer for a Children's Activity
This review is regarding a pack of School Smart Copier Transparency Film. The Transparency film arrived intact and as described (albeit a day later than promised by Amazon, which is atypical). It is a pack of multiple transparency sheets. I purchased them in hopes of creating "pretend" x-rays for children's pretend play. When I set my printer properties to print on these sheets as if they were glossy pictures, it printed on them just fine. When I attempted to set my printer on the transparency film setting, it did not feed the transparency through (go figure!). Unfortunately, the ink did not dry and, when left sitting overnight, the ink on the images began "bleeding" together. Perhaps someone else will have better luck using these for a similar purpose! As a side note, I purchased a Crayola light box item (designed for teaching children to draw) on which to place the x-rays. It was much cheaper than traditional light boxes and worked beautifully for this purpose if anyone has a similar project in mind or wants a light box for other play purposes for kids!

Affordable but with imperfections
For those with an overhead projector, these are a decent and affordable way to make transparencies. However, for any other use, I don't recommend this brand. I purchased two packs and both were used with similar results. The sheets come out of the packaging dirty and scratched. They aren't crystal clear although I don't think they advertise as such so that isn't a mark against them in my review. The issue, and reason for loss of stars, is the same as a few other reviewers mentioned. The sheets don't take toner well. The end result is blotchy and sometimes, the toner transfers to other parts of the sheet during printer. I tried to use some for creating a specific craft and they were unusable for anything other than practice. I've used transparency sheets on/off over the years since I began my career in classrooms nearly two decades ago. These sheets aren't the best quality I've encountered but neither are they the worst sheets on the market. If you're a craft person looking for clear sheets, a perfectionist, or have students in your classroom bothered by external stimuli during lessons, I don't know that I would recommended this option. Some of the imperfections I've seen on the sheets would definitely create a pattern in what is projected on the screen/wall. Otherwise, enjoy them, they're a good bargain compared to everything else on the market.

Used for Magazine Lettering
Needed these for a hand lettering design project to write with white inks, paints, and correction fluid. I then scanned in at high-res and was able to manipulate in Photoshop to isolate only the white lettering. Lettering ended up making it onto a magazine cover and the featured article spread! Perfect for my needs and a great price for a box of 100. Will definitely buy again if I need more, but have about 70-sheets remaining. Very high quality... not too thick and not too thin. Also didn't need the strip at top, so that saved some money, too. I realize my use for these was unorthodox, but they're crystal clear and durable.

They worked great! each transparent sheet has some weight to it ...
I bought this product with the intention of using them as windows for some craft boxes I also purchased from Amazon. They worked great! each transparent sheet has some weight to it while still being pretty clear. My printer had no trouble sensing the sheets despite them not having the sensor strips, and I can't wait to use them for other things. They're a great deal, and I would buy them again.

Good quality flim, but INKJET users should look elsewhere
My optimism was piqued when I saw the first review declaring that she had gotten this film to work on inkjet printers. In reality, however, this film simply does not work with my Epson WF-7520 and its aftermarket ink refill system (popular one here on amazon). The film is good quality, not quite as thick as I was hoping but very transparent.I tried a multitude of ways to make this work:- tried both sides of film...FAIL- tried printing at lower opacity to lay down less ink...FAIL- let the ink dry for 24 hours...FAIL- gently scuff the printing side before printing...FAILI am convinced that this product is not going to work for most inkjet users and would advise against it.

transparency film sheet
There may be a reason why that similar products sell for a lot more money but this product works perfectly in my Canon laser printer and paying more money to do the same thing did not make sense to me. I did not go five stars because I cannot imagine such a state of joy being delivered from this type of application.

Awesome!
The film worked beautifully in my Brother laser printer. (I used the "label" media type). Sharp image, no curls, jams, or smudging, and it's water proof (unlike the Avery stuff). I'm very happy with this product and highly recommend it.These are not for inkjet printers (liquid ink doesn't absorb into plastic). Toner based laser printers and copiers only!

Only erasable on one side
So we tried out a sheet, and it looks as though you can only use dry erase markers on one side of the sheet. If you use the wrong side, it is permanent. Not exactly sure how to tell which side is erasable and which isn't. Otherwise, works fine. Sheets are good quality.

Great value
I use these transparencies for image transfer for artwork and it works as well as the more expensive brands. The only thing that is different is that the acetate is a pinch thinner. But really, that's not a problem.

Not good for floating ornaments
I bought this for my floating ornaments and it did not work at all. There is no instructions what side to print on and the ink would not dry. I wish I could give this a O star. But it might be good for something else just not what I wanted it for.
