Wonderful rich flavor
This seasoning is so good. I’ve used it on hamburgers, beef roast, steak, pork chops and because it has salt in it have used it as a dry brine on tougher steaks like sirloin to tenderize it. Just sprinkle it on and wrap in plastic for a few hours. The tins these Spicewalla seasonings come in make great gifts. That’s how I got my first ones.

Make sure the can is sealed.
I had received a sample of this rub as a gift and I loved it. Some of the best steaks that I’ve ever grilled. So I ordered more. The seal was broken on the can and the bag inside wasn’t sealed either. Since I’ve never ordered this before, and not knowing how it’s actually packaged, I’m afraid to use it. I tried to return it but I’m unable to. I guess I’ll just take it as a lost. I’m disappointed because this steak rub is awesome.

Great gift!
I ordered 3 of their meat rubs as a gift for my brother-in-law. I haven't tasted them but the quality seems to be great! They smell really good. Hopefully I will hear what my brother-in-law things after trying them. I would order again for gifting and possibly try one for myself also.

a Must-Have in our kitchen
I use this on everything: steak, egg salad, roasted veggies, breakfast crepes... The packaging looks nice albeit wasteful since we go through it so quickly. I would appreciate a bulk option without the tin.

Best rub for grilling
I have tried multiple steak seasonings—-this is the very closest you can get to a campfire grill flavor——adheres to the steak nicely and provides a very nice overall crust and flavor. This is my 4th re-order

They changed the mix
Not sure what happened, but we used to love this stuff and then they changed it. It used to be a more traditional steak seasoning and now it's just a ton of paprika in a terrible can.

Contains Cumin
I'm sure some people will really like this, however we thought it tasted strange. We read the label and it has Cumin. Cumin is good in chili, but I didn't like it in a steak rub.

Fresh, delicious and versatile!
Spicewalla is one of my favorite spice curators, so it's no surprise that this blend is exactly what I want in a steak rub. My friends think I'm a grill master, but really it's all the Cowboy Steak seasoning. Fresh, savory, smokey and just the right amount of salt. Also great for so many things in addition to steak -- ground beef, tuna steak, chicken, pork chops, even veggies and marinades. 5 stars!
