ACDelco Silver 18B298A (19241892) Rear Brake Drum

High quality drum that fit perfect on my 2002 Grand AM SE (rear). Outside is painted black and inside is shinny metal with a rust protective coating that must be removed before install.

out of round, exchanged for another set and same thing. had to have them turned even though they say ready to install right out of the box.update 2023Ordered again thinking quality improved, WRONG! still junk in July 2023. Swapped them twice, all of them, ALL, were out of round.Finally got them round enough to work properly; took two runs on the lathe at my local shop to get them to run true, but now they are above maximum diameter, so I am taking a risk, but to be fair, almost all brake drums on the market today are cheap junk. These brakes work fantastic with perfectly round drums, so if you think your brake performance is lacking after installing these, that is why. I have a claim in with ACDelco about this and will be willing to improve my star rating based upon their service quality.My expertise: I have worked on my own cars and for a spell in a professional environment since 1998. I have found most parts on the market anymore are made by the lowest bidder and most people do not bat an eye at the quality.
