Worth a watch but don't expect much.
This is a review of the Blu-Ray... IT Chapter 1: Not a bad adaptation of the original film, some decent jumpy bits and the actings not too bad. Bonus features: deleted scenes and 3 featurettes including; Behind the scenes of how the actor became Pennywise. Behind the scenes of the child actors and their experiences during filming. Stephen King and how he wrote IT. IT Chapter 2: I was looking forward to an all out horror-blood fest and it started off well and I thought 'cool, this is going to be really good!' but I was wrong. Instead it quickly turned into a comedy-horror and in no time at all, any tension and suspense was completely lost and all you're left with is nonstop Bill Hader jokes and a new ending for Pennywise. Bonus features: audio commentary. Summary: chapter 1 is very good and worth a watch. Chapter 2 is a big let down and only worth watching to see how it ends.

Brilliant
Puritans will always say that the Tim Curry film is king. I used to think so, til I see these newer ones. Its relatable and more interesting, because instead of jumping from the 50s to the late 80s as in the Tim Curry film - it goes from the 80s to the present day.... most of us know these time periods and there is a nostalgia for it at the mo. Its got funny "typical kid stuff". Id actually say its a Coming of Age story. Yes its still creepy and scary, and its psychological as hell.... but very good! Worth it!

I love both parts and (I'm sorry to the OG fans) prefer it over the original version. The quality is great and noticeable. I highly recommend!

This is a fantastic adaptation of the Steven King classic. Hard to beat Tim Curry's Pennywise but this is pretty close. 4K brings the movie to life at home.
