EVERY CHILD SHOULD OWN (AND READ) THIS BOOK! "Peter Pan" is a novel that should be read in childhood first, and again, and again afterwards. I won't detail the story, but am really reviewing the Minalima Ltd. version of the book. The Minalima book has TONS of interactive elements (like maps, and fold-outs, and even a pocket kite you can make!!), and is so beautifully illustrated. These "interactive elements" are so wonderful that they will make children take their eyes off their games and WANT to read (or be read-to). This company has another book, The Jungle Book , which is just as wonderful. One of the best things about all these inserts is that they're attached to their pages, which means you don't have to worry about losing them! I do not work for this company, and frankly know nothing about it other than these two books. I implore you to buy this version if you're wondering which to buy.

This is a beautiful edition of the book, but buyer should beware that this is the original edition of the text and may be difficult to read aloud to kids (or for them to read themselves). The style is different from children’s stories today and though a classic of its time, there is a lot more exposition than in more modern stories or adaptations of this one. If you want a pretty book, though, this is it.

The quality of the book is outstanding. It has many beautiful and creative illustrations, the pages are thick, and the art is not a mere copy of Disney’s Peter Pan movie. Furthermore. I expected the book to be smaller, but the size is pretty decent. If you’re looking for a luxury edition of Peter Pan at a reasonable price, Minalima’s is the way to go.

This book is like a little adventure! I didn’t realize the difficulty of the original Peter Pan, so it’s probably best to read to a child than for independent reading (why I bought it), but these illustrations and interactive activities can make bedtime reading so much more fun! I really recommend if you are fan of Peter Pan or fantasy in general, or if you read chapter books with your children. Note: it does use a racial slur for indigenous peoples, so again, I think it’s best read WITH your child.

I will get them later. these are collectors items not like rich peoplecollectors items. more like plain old people collectors items. but be careful. the 9 book deal -- I got them all separately for a lot less

Peter Pan This edition of the original Peter Pan is a delight. Our children really loved the interactive elements to the drawings and the wonderful designs really aided their enjoyment of the book. The original Barrie text is a bit dense and a bit plodding for young (and old), and although the underlying tale is great, the Minalima additions through pictures and moveable designs really made the story exciting. Highly recommend this edition if you want your kid to love Peter Pan.
