I have had real good luck with these drives. My computer setup has a removable drive bay, so I have several of them. i like the slightly smaller profile (height-wise) because it goes into the bay more easily than a Western Digital that I have. I replaced my mid-2009 i-Mac hard drive with this. So far it is working great! As others have said, the shipping was great and fast (I got it from green tech). Good product for cheap price! It was easy to replace the old hard drive and fit into place perfectly.

Great little drive for what i need it for. I don't do a lot of storing songs and movies, just mainly game play so this was the perfect drive for me. Recommended for people who don't do a whole lot with their computer besides saving a few files and gaming.

Very fast delivery and the drive nicely protected! And just in time too as a recent scan of my computer resulted in the warning "replacement of hard drive recommended - failure is imminent". Great customer service!

I needed this exact drive for my computer .When it arrived I installed it and it asked for a passkey to install an old windows operating system. When I contacted the company they stated that it must be defective so I sent it back. I then asked would I be getting another to replace it and they stated they didn't have another, yet they are posting this same one online now.

I put this into a PC which had the same ST3160815AS drive in it, or so I thought. They didn't work and I thought at first they were DOA but I tried them in another PC and they worked. The two drives I got were ST3160815AS 7200.12 which is a higher density drive than the 7200.10 drives that worked with my old Intel board. If you have an older motherboard you need to stick with the lower density drives if you can get that information from the supplier.

It works, that's what counts, and will allow me to salvage my nine year old HP desktop, once I find a boot disk, so I can load the backup off my external hard drive. Can anyone tell me how to do this. I had Windows XP, and even Microsoft says, "Sorry we don't support that operating system anymore". The old HP-PC didn't come with the OS on a CD, and the recovery disc they had me make doesn't to anything. But, the new HD does work, I tested it with a Diagnostic Disk I had !!!

Very dependable hard drive. Was reluctant as I've always been a fan of western digital, but 1 year on, this hard drive is still rocking. Ordered 3 of rm for my renderfarm nodes. No regrets whatsoever.

Bad sector hard didk

This is a great product. It works very well and it was easy to set it up to work. The Quality over pricing is fantastic. I would recommend this product.

Freudig erwartete ich die Lieferung, erster Eindruck passt super, Gehäuse ist gleich, Aufkleber- Typenschild auch identisch.. Doch nun, die Steckerleiste total unterschiedlich. Ein Anschluß ist nicht möglich.
