Frogger Golf Wet and Dry Amphibian Golf Towel

This towel works great!!! As many other reviewers noted, I wish I bought this towel years ago.The interior section of the towel does a great job cleaning golf clubs and golf balls when either wet & dry (it does better when wet). The soft exterior of the towel dries just like many other towels. As their advertisement states, this is the best solution if you don't have a caddy to clean your golf clubs (many golf courses have ball washes at the tee boxes so the ability to clean golf balls is not a big deal).Getting the right amount of water on the interior takes some experience. Too much water results in dripping from the towel as it hangs from my bag but that is not a problem because my bag is over grass (it is a golf course). And too little water just means I have to add a little to increase the dampness. Honestly, getting the right dampness is not a problem.I strongly recommend this towel and will be buying more to give as gifts.

Great towel, looks good and works. Does take some time to dry, make sure you reverse (hang inside out) it for drying. I am able to ditch the wire brush that ripped up my bag and prior towels and still have clean grooves. This with an occasional use of a tee to remove something hard stuck in club is all you need.I got this towel after I lost one TOO MANY of those "hole in the towel over the club models" from other brands. Metal carabiner insures this one stays put.

I'd give this a 4 or 5 star except the ribbon that is suppose to connect the towel to the hook on the golf bag is CHEAP as opposed to most towels at this price which have a metal o ring crimped on the corner to make the hold and connection stronger and of greater quality. I had to go to a sewing store to buy a metal hole crimping set; then had to modify the towel myself .....

The towel works good, but construction leaves much to be desired. Unfortunately I only got to use it once before the corner loop to hang it ripped right off. I wasn't even using it when it did...I hit a bump on the golf cart and it ripped, fell off my bag, and landed in a nice mud puddle. I know I can fix it somehow, but I shouldn't have to be fixing brand new things. I really do hope the company does something about the shoddy construction of the hanging loop.

This product is understated by it's company, the towel is thick and stands up to sand and grass most commonly associated with club or golf ball cleaning. My first purchase of this towel was 4 years ago at a golf store, the reason I purchased another from AMAZON was price and shopping convenience. My first towel is fine after several years of use it has faded a bit and sweats just a tad. It still holds water and keeps moisture for several days when you forget to hang it to dry. This towel truly performs well beyond it's need even after 4 years of use thank you Frogger Golf and AMAZON for providing such a fine product. Recommend when drying (air dry) do not subject to temperatures of 90 degrees or higher for long periods or place in a dryer, this will preserve the membrane within the towel to ensure longevity.

I really like this towel because of it's wet/dry side. During the dryer months you can choose to fill the inside with water to wipe your clubs down when they get dirty. In the wet months, the outside gets soaked but the inside stays dry. A bonus if you need to wipe the handles of your clubs with a dry towel.I didn't take a star down but I do have to mention that this leans on the pricey side for a towel..however relative to the game of golf I would say it's decently priced. Also need to mention that the tabs that hold the carbiner seem to be not as well made, starting to fray and hopefully doesn't fall off. Although it's looking like it might be only good for 2 seasons... We shall see. A half star for the price and a half star for the carbiner issue, giving it possibly a harsh 4 of 5 stars. For the price these towels should be very well made.

Love this towel. Absolutely love it. Can't say enough about it. The inside is made of a 'scrubby' fabric for really getting into the grooves of my irons and stays wet. The outside is made of a traditional terry cloth and stays dry to 'finish' the job and buff it so it's shiny. When I wet this down I turn it inside out and dip it into a water bucket (doing my best to only get the scrubby fabric wet ) at the course or spray it (only enough to get the scrubby layer wet) with the sink hose at home and the inside stays wet on all but the hot hot hot days. The towel would work well even if it was entirely soaked but I like having the inside wet and the outside dry. It looks great and works wonderfully. This towel is one of my favorite golf 'gadgets' and I am so glad I spent a little extra to have it. It is better than other towels because of the two different fabrics and it's ability to remain damp enough to clean my clubs through an entire 18-hole round. I definitely keep my clubs cleaner and it is so cute hanging on my bag.

My buddy has one it it was awesome. I bought mine and the bag attachment is so cheap, the weight of the towel when its hydrated caused my towel bag hook/string to rip and now the towels sits on the floor of the cart or in my trunk when I'm walking cause there's isn't anyway to attach it to the bag. For as much as I paid for this, you'd think Frogger would use a metal or hard plastic eye hole with a D-ring attachment so this wouldn't happen. $5 dollar towels come with much better quality attachment. So frustrated.

Great towel every golfer should have one on their bag, very versatile.

Not as waterproof as that of my husband purchased in store golf town which is no longer available at the store hence purchasing through amazonHis was yet inside and dry outside - mine upon pouring water inside the water seeps through the outside maybe a lemon :-(
