Correction: It is not fit for 3/8" dovetail. This fits for 20MM Picatinny Mount.

RTFM. Use the small Allen wrench included to turn the elevation adjustment screw.

Q: Why are there two different models pictured? One has a colored knob and another pictured shows a numbered knob???

Its cheap. That's why. I bought mine for a ruger 10/22 and it works great, makes accurate work or of shooting fast. I would not put it on anything more powerful, or anything my life depends on. Mine has red and green colored numbers. I'm sure the stock images are from different stages of its production life and didn't get fixed by quality control.
