The alarm works fine but the volume is too low and sometimes inaudible. I just returned from holiday and discovered this was happening. Tried to use the app to adjust volume to no avail. 😫

This product has a fundamental design flaw. When the alarm is sounding it can be turned off by sliding the on/off switch on the back of it. If you are using the remote controls then maybe it will transmit the alerts before a burglar gets to it and disables it, but if you have it set with a delay because you want to disable it using the keypad on entry then there will be easily time for it to be turned off before any warnings are sent. You can see this for yourself in the amazon.com reviews. The manufacturer also confirmed that it's easily disabled in the email they sent me (see below). They say to hide it, but that means you can't see the display and as soon as the alarm goes off they'd know where to find it. Also, the video on youtube of where to place it indicates it works best if out in the open! The delay can't be set to less than the time it takes to reach it because you need to be able to turn it off when entering the house."Thank you for your e-mail and interest. But, when the alarm is set up correctly, this shouldn’t be an issue. The fact is that you can put the W100 panel anywhere you like. Let’s say it’s in the living room.
