The remote in my bedroom gets lost all the time and I wanted a back up. A colorful one. I got this one and it was a breeze to set up and the first code for.my tv worked. I am just using it for one device. I did hold the remote as far away from the TV as the room allows and had no issues with the signal. One thing to note is it takes two triple A batteries and I rarely use those, so I had to run out and get some. Other than that, set up was so simple and it works great. Super lightweight. The battery cover was a little hard to get off.

This works really great with my Samsung TV as well as with my Sanyo (apparently wiil work many TVs). I stream and have Roku on both TVs, each TV has it's own remote (I have 4 total remotes) . My main TV is a Samsung and the remote easily controls the (1) TV, (2) Roku (to call up different subscriptions like Amazon, Netflicx and YouTube TV) as well as my (3) sound bar. I have the one that lights up making it easier to see in dim settings. Can't go wrong with this remote for the price and how easy it is to set up and use.

Not sure why sleep mode is a priority for review, but overall it is a decent remote. The one downfall I've noticed is the battery life. I LOVE the back-lit buttons, but there's a price to pay. Most remotes will last a month or 2. This may eek out a month of regular use. In spite of that, it's decent.

It is light and for the most part durable (I dropped it a few times on the title floor and it did not break). The controls buttons are design in the right place. At first, I was disappointed that I could not assess the Internet, Prime, Netflix with just one button...that is until I found the button that took me to all of these and then could select which app I wanted to go to (you would have thought I would had read all of the instructions first). This remote worked better then the original remote that came with the Samsung TV, which broke after a couple of drops (Samsung's replacement was to be $110 and a 3 week wait time). I GE's Backlight liked so much, I bought a second one for my Vizio TV, in order to replace Vizio's original that never did work well and is hard to use.

I have three TV's and a boyfriend so I need 4 remotes (2 for the bedroom!) I purchased four of these two years ago, and I LOVE them! One remote, backlit, simple & easy to use. AND if you keep dropping it on the hardwood floor, or lose it, its easy and inexpensive to replace. Works great! I have no complaints! I LOVE that it comes set up for Samsung, but its easy to re-program if SOMEONE messes it up by accident ;-) I purchased this previously and will purchase it again if He gives it away again!

I do like this remote. It's a nice quality remote..love the back light so you can see what buttons your pressing in the dark. Buttttttt the set-up was so complicated. I like to think of myself as tech savvy but this remotes set-up to my TV was so hard. It was stressful. I would suggest maybe an easier/more clear set up and then you'd have the perfect remote! Also another thing after I finally set up the remote, the input button never worked..not sure why.

GE Backlit Universal Remote Control: I must say I was pleasantly surprised at how comprehensive this remote is. I have a 14+ yr old Toshiba tube TV and the 1st code listed worked! I have a newer Samsung TV and it was preprogrammed to operate it out of the box. HOWEVER,, the REAL test was an almost 18 year old JVC Boombox with CD player! Most Univ remotes can't operate it. I went thru ALL listed codes and no dice. I did the auto code search and sat there pushing the button umpteen times as it went thru more than 300 codes and then BOOM! It WORKED! I'm shocked and thrilled. I can control everything with ONE Remote! Yes! UPDATE!! Received it Jan 29 and stopped working July 5th. Suckie Quality.

I love love love these! Bought 2 since our dog keeps eating all our Roku remotes. They are super easy to program and the backlighting on the buttons is game changing. We have different colors so we know which tvs they are programmed for but it takes seconds to use them on any tv. Just keep the codes or tape the list of applicable ones for your devices to the remote. I will definitely be getting more when my dog gets to these.

Excelente opción para reemplazar los controles que no funcionan o de los aparatos que ya no tienen, sugiero guarden la lista de códigos para usar cuando se llegue a desprogramar

A mi me encantaron ya compre 2 y voy por el tercero .tengo uno en cada tv de mi casa .. con el 1er código se activo .. y eso que son tv de diferente marca .. también uso uno para un DVD de otra marca ,y perfecto . Los super recomiendo

Me parece un buen equipo, pero... no me funcionó para IzzI. Tengo un equipo de sonido Pioneer y una TV Samsung y ambos se controlan de maravilla. pero no cuenta con los comando para hacer funcional el IZZI: Ojo: yo cuento con el equipo que graba, asi que desconozco si funciona con el IZZI ( Pace) normal
