Worked great to seal my smoker
This worked great to seal the doors on my vertical meat smoker.Others have had problems. Here are my two tricks for success.1. Buy NON-CHLORINATED brake cleaner. NOT REGULAR. Heat can mix badly with regular brake cleaner, releasing a very very toxic gas. Only use the non-chlorinated stuff for this job.2. With a rag, thoroughly clean all the metal surfaces where you will stick the adhesive on the weather stripping.3. Cut the strips slightly undersized. For a 20" strip, cut it 1/8" shy on each end. For a long vertical strip in the 40" range, cut it 1/4" shy on each end. The stuff expands the first time you heat it up. It needs a little expansion room, otherwise the expansion will pop the strip off.4. Close and latch the doors to press the stripping in place and let it sit for 24 hours. Then, run it on a high heat cycle with the doors latched for an hour or so to get it good and hot. Then shut it off without opening the doors, and let it cool down completely. That should do it.

Perfect for Weatherproofing and Quieting the Noise
I brought this primarily to weatherproof and “soundproof” the front door of my apartment. I was losing a ton on cooling because the gaps were huge on the door. I also could hear everything outside the door in the hallways, and quickly found out they could hear everything I was saying. This did the trick! Just a little patience with prepping (you have to make sure the application site is completely clean and dry) and this is well worth it.

Performs as Advertised
I used this weatherstripping to repair door frames damaged by my dogs. It was simple and easy to install and seems to be holding up perfectly.

Perfect replacement for MEP-8xx generator door seals.
I used this for the door seals on an MEP-803A military generator. They were recommended by several people on a military vehicle forum so I took a chance and for the price and fit, they’re perfect. Needed more than one pack though to replace ALL seals. Will definitely buy more when I redo my MEP-802A.
