Perfect fit, no modifications needed
The media could not be loaded. One thing I never liked about the 2005 GL1800 and similar was the saddlebag mounted turn signal. If a following car was too close, they likely would not see it. This product puts a flashing signal at the motorist eye level. Install was straightforward, I did solder my connections rather than try a tap splice. They fit nicely in the gap between the mirror and mirror housing, are held to the mirror back with 3M tape. The design is such that they are more visible straight back and away from the bike, so the rider does not get a distracting flash when they are being used.

Added Safety
I bought these for my 2012 Honda Gold Wing. I also purchased the plug-n-play wire harness/adapter that made the install very easy. However, if you decide not to spend the extra money for the harness/adapter, these LED's can be easily spliced into the existing turn signal harness with very simple tools. These LED's are very noticeable to anyone behind you and to either side of you. They are not easily visible to the the rider and therefore does not distract you even at night. The install took 30 minutes. Add an extra 25 minutes if you don't have the extra harness/adapter.

this is a very good option to have MIRROR signal lights in Goldwing GL1800.Work great an looks fine. The only one thing is you need to cut and split voltage wires (not original connector).VERY GOOD ITEM!
