This book was exactly as described, very well packaged and shipped - received in just days!!Would recommend the seller.

It really helps you to identify styles and the signatures of the major artists.

Granted this is a huge undertaking. And it is at present the best book on the subject. But it, like the rest of the "American Indian Art Series," is not particularly well edited. And without seriously acquainting yourself with its form and arrangement - it is difficult and often frustrating to use efficiently. But it is all we have... and it is not a bad value.

Light reading helpful. But very basic

Bought for the illustrations to admire pottery designs. The pottery illustrations are all approx. 1.5 inch thumbnails in low resolution black and white. The dust jacket is in beautiful color, leading me to think the illustrations inside the book would be similar. Misleading website description at best. Expensive but useless book.

Excellent reference

Good information on potters that can be difficult to find correct information.
