not really
it's okay, but more soft porn than zombie horror story.nudity throughout not for younger readers.the art quality changed from volume to volume.it sells for namesake and not content.

Another Zombies comic...
I don't have the first or the second volume, but there is no need for that, because each volume has it's own story.I am going to get the others volumes as well, but let's stay on topic.Definitely not for kids, tho, but who would buy a comic about zombies to kids in the first place ?A bunch of teenagers spending some time in the dessert of California. Some zombies, a weird religious clan, some nudity and blood and heads flying around and pieces of bodies.I do agree with the other comment here, not to much of the zombies, but then, to much is also not interesting, so you do get the idea. The artwork is very good, the book has good biding , cover gallery and an extra story.Yes, i like it.

Call it what you want, but this is NOT "The Night of the Living Dead".
Some of the stories are good, but others are extremely cheesy. There is only ONE story in this series that's based on "Night of the Living Dead". The rest involve a lot of pictures of women's breasts and not very many zombies.

M.R. Gott's Cutis Anserina Reviews Night of the Living Dead V3
Night of the Living Dead Volume 3 by Mike Wolfer & Dheeraj Verma. This is a tricky book to review, because you can see a great deal of effort put into it. The two stories contained in this volume are Death Valley and an untitled bayou bonus. In each arc there is a clear attempt to elevate the characters involved above typical horror tropes, that being said it does not always succeed. The art hurts especially in Death Valley in this regard as the characters are nearly identical. They look as though they were inspired by Liefeld from the mid 90's, so the cast they seem to be nothing more than people with perfect bodies, with a total lack of nuisance. Again I am not being a prude, but when the cast is mostly naked, and the features are so similar it is difficult to keep track of who is who. This is a shame, especially with the intricate back stories that were worked out to show character growth. The action and gore sequences though are quite well done, and I know if I stumbled on this book back when I first began reading comics they would have been ingrained in my mind in their intensity and graphic detail. In keeping true to Romero, each story makes an attempt at some level of social commentary, however it never really works. This collection was a fine read but frustrating as it never reached the level the creators were clearly trying for. That being said I always prefer an honest attempt at something, rather than half asses s*** even the creator has to admit they didn't give their full effort to.[...]

An ok continuation of the movie
As another reviewer said they seem a lot more interested in drawing bare boobs than they are in the zombies. But the story line is ok and the art is certainly good.
