Sprouted quickly
If you've never had a Cherokee purple - and love tomatoes....they are a must in the garden. This year I was determined to save money not buying store bought plants and had to have some of this type. They arrived in great shape...clean and fresh. I popped a few into my hydro seed starter and they all germinated within 3 days and at 5 are almost 2 inches tall so growing very well. The seedlings look healthy and growing at the right pace. I've gotten other things from this company and won't hesitate to buy more....

Most prolific tomato plant I’ve ever grown!
This is my first attempt at growing tomatoes from seed. Great results with 100% germination. I didn’t expect all of them to germinate and had to give away extra plants to neighbors.I live in the city with limited space; kept three plants for myself and grew them in Costco grow bags. Used organic potting soil, fish emulsion and Tom’s tomato fertilizer. These plants were more than 6 feet tall and looked more like shrubs than tomato plants! (See photo) I highly recommend Gardener Supply tomato cages; four sided supports are necessary for these beasts!Even with the strange weather pattern in western Michigan (high temps, dry conditions) my tomato yield has been remarkable. Each tomato is 1lb +! They are so big they appear to be 2-3 tomatoes melding together and sometimes wrap around the stalk. I’ve had so many I’ve bestowed them upon neighbors and coworkers who all proclaim their deliciousness. They are low acidity and slightly sweet and just perfect for a blt, salad or eaten straight off the vine. Grow this tomato! I will never be without it in my garden!

Stingy-late blight-short-good flavor
These were tough to grow but worth the effort as they tasted best of all my other tomatoes. Very susceptible to heavy cracking no matter what. Easy on the watering too.

Amazing tasting tomato
These seeds germinated perfectly and grow into lovely bushy plants with lots of fruit. We just picked and ate our first tomato on July 24th...I grew these in a 15-gallon grow pot.OMG, this first tomato was so succulent, sweet and delicious - weighing in at 1 lb 1/2 oz. Just a little salt and a fork...shared it with 4 other people as we stood around the countertop. Most are not that large, but they are a good size. But they are still growing and putting out flowers. Can't wait for the next one!

A New Tomato For Me
I love to utilize the heritage style tomato brands and this one will be a new one for me. I have some plants growing in my house, so that I may transplant outside when the season is acceptable. I am somewhat concerned that the seedlings may not survive to adulthood. It will be an adventure!

Great tasting tomato that grew very easy.
I would order these again when I run out of seeds. The seeds easily sprouted indoors in a 4" pot under a small led grow light that I bought from HD. Grew them indoors for about 3 weeks before I transplanted outside in soil. I trellis my tomatoes and grew these 8-10" high with an abundant amount of tomatoes so far and I have another 2-3 harvesting months left. Very flavorful tomato and very pretty when sliced open. Nice round shape, med-large in size. (3"-5") Love them on burgers, BLT's, all kinds of sandwiches and straight up plain!!!

No germination.
I’m an avid gardener and have been growing plants from seeds for years. I’m not a novice by any means, and I’ve learned a lot over the years, including many tips and tricks to get even difficult seeds to germinate. This year so far, I have over 100 seedlings growing of all varieties from fruits/veggies to flowers, and I’ve had nearly a 100% germination rate for all. That is, until these seeds. Of all the seeds from this packet that I’ve planted, not a single one has germinated. I have 5 other different tomato varieties going right now, and this is the only one that I can’t get going. Soil temp has been kept at a perfect temperature using heat mats and a thermostat, I’m using professional grade grow lights on a consistent timer, high quality soil, and over-all ideal growing parameters, and yet these still won’t germinate. I’ve tried multiple tricks I know of, and I even tried planting a few more of these seeds all under different circumstances to try and see if they were just being finicky. I cannot get them to grow, and there’s not many seeds in the packet to begin with. Very disappointing.
