Good brushes for the money.
For the money, it is a great set of watercolor brushes for a basic set to carry around if you paint as an amateur. Important to use brushes that hold water and distribute evenly.

Great for Beginners and Professionals
These brushes are just so functional - great spring, hold a good amount of water, yet can keep a fine point. I recommend these for my beginner students because the set is a great selection of sizes with a wash. But I also know professionals that use them because they are just versatile. One of the things you look for in a good watercolor brush is the ability to hold a lot of water, but also to retain a fine point. It means you can load up your brush and do big washes, but still tighten up and do tiny bits of detail with the sharp point. They are a synthetic squirrel, so a good cruelty free brush. If you are starting a watercolor class, this is a great set to get to cover all the bases starting out.

Great for a beginner who wants to feel like a pro
I just paint as a relaxing hobby and got into it this year, so I can’t speak to whether these would be a good investment for someone like an art student, but these brushes were a delightful step up from the hobby-grade ones I was using before. I’m finally getting some traction on techniques I’ve been practicing for a few months now. Great for a little splurge that will have you enjoying your painting practice and give a boost of confidence in your abilities. Don’t neglect to pair them up with some decent paper, though - they do carry a lot of water!

Best watercolor brushes
These brushes are very good at holding water so that you bring a lot of pigment to the paper .The brisilles are oft but durable.

Excellent choice if you are looking to upgrade
After using cheap brushes I was hopeful that these would be better and they are. I was very pleased with how thirsty they were and how much easier it is to paint with them.

Not very much return snap.
Its a nice brush. Well crafted. The brush hairs are fine. My only downgrade is my personal preference for a brush with more "snap" back to neutral position, when the brush is wet with water or paint. When I make a stroke, the fibers stay in the position they were when I lifted the brush from the paper. They don't return to neutral.
