Best Boys Book Kit
Only books my son needs! Got these for his first birthday, and he's still obsessed a year later. A great gift for boys, along with a wooden train set and large construction vehicles.

Awesome fun. Great learning exercise.
Like most toddlers, my boy is enamored with planes, trains and automobiles. More of trains and planes and a little bit less with tractors and all other means of transport. So when I picked up this set, I was sure of some of the titles and not so much of the rest. Here are our experiences from the first few days of non-stop reading.1. The Planes, trains, submarines and to a certain extent cars and boats are extremely well done. The lyric/words are well written and the images are nice and cool. There is also an ease of being able to explain some of these to the boy.2. The tractor and trucks books are a little less enjoyable because of the number of complex words, tools and items being explained and shown. I think this will be the less read books of the lot.3. The use of the same set of characters, anonymous yet associative with the rest of the books, is a good approach.4. The size of the books are just right for toddlers to be able to handle without much fuss.5. Hardcovers are well done. Not sure how long they can take a toddler abuse but it looks decent enough to hold up.6. Colors and illustrations follow similar themes and patterns across all the books which increases the kid's familiarity with all of them.Overall, for the price, it is a no-brainer. Recommended.

My boys love this collection!!
OMG my boys love this collection. The books are simple, well illustrated and great for all kids at story time. I have read each book in the collection at least a few times and I actually enjoy them as well. So if you have a kid in your life that likes boats, cars, trucks, rockets, submarines, etc., get this collection and have some fun reading to them. The one very minor piece of feedback I have is, the final page where it has the parts of each boat, car, fire truck, whatever, each main item should be its own page. While there is great information in there, the type and picture are too small. That is the page my boys ignore completely. Somehow they just skip over it. It is not enough to take a star off, but if the authors make more, and I hope they do, I hope my feedback is listened to.

Truckload of Fun indeed!
I bought this set for my 3yo son after buying two books in the series individually. Turns out, he loved the two that I got and wanted more so I bought this set. The books are small but the size and hard cover make it easy to toss into his backpack to take in the car, grandma's house or leave on the floor (as he is prone to do) and not worry about damaging the cover like the two paper back books I got. The illustrations are colorful and focused on the storyline, the words rhyme well and are easy to follow. At the end of each book there is a recap of the important parts of the vehicles with its name, drawing and description to help your little one learn about the different parts of the submarine, rocket, digger, etc.The paper truck the books came in was instantly trashed so while it is a cute holder of the books, we ended up throwing it away and using our bookshelf to store the books.

Size Matters - Perfect for Lap Reading!
BOOKS ARE NOT AS LONG AS THE FIRETRUCK! Great selection and quantity for the price. I purchased this set because they were hardback and thus easier to read and turn pages for storytime. I failed to check the dimensions. So I did not realize they are board book sized (hardback picturebooks)/smaller than typical paperback and hardback copies of Tony Mitton’s book’s we are used to seeing in libraries. Sadly, they are too small to be useful for reading in front of large groups like at well attended library storytimes. This set would make a great gift, so I will probably give the set away to a friend with preschoolers.

Cute books, great concept, would make a great gift! My son loves.
These books are darling! The truck bookcase is really cute too. My autistic 3 year old (now a 4 year old) still loves these books, especially the train, tractor and car ones. I only deducted one star because for the age audience these appeal to, they should probably not have paper pages. I have had to do a lot of repair on his favorite ones. Otherwise the stories themselves and pictures are really great. Each pages rhymes. This is a great concept for a set of books as it seems most little boys at least love all things vehicles. Highly recommend this set. It would make a great gift!

Great books!
These are so much fun. My nephews love picking a little book from the little library box. Parents will have the catchy rhyming stories memorized in no time. Big hit in the 2-5 year old crowd.

So cute!
My 2nd grader loves everything vehicles/trucks. These are a great set. Easy enough for him to read on his own for the most part. They have some good information on each subject.
