Cook n home 10 pc Stainless Cookware
I tried each pan for the magnet inductive stove top that I use. Grandson prefers the little one qt bowl, which he heated some canned soup. It did not burn , even though I used a higher heat than normal. I did not need to scrub anything. It has a 10 inch frying pan, 1 qt pot, 2 qt pot, 3 qt kettle, 5 qt kettle. The bottom is very thick for even cooking. I have not seen a higher quality cookware that would compare. The sizes are for small family cooking. A bigger frying pan might be nice. But I have one. I am very pleased with the quality of cookware & the quick shipment, UPS was running day & night this week, possibly back logged, but I got mine fast. I love My Duxtop magnetic inductive stoves, no raging heat burning me, the energy savings is applied to faster cooking, but once the water boils, you can reduce the cooking temperature to #1. Water boils at 212 deg, at Altitude of 2000 feet, 208 degrees. No matter how much more heat you can add to it, the water will not get any hotter, it will just boil over. In that case, you would need a pressure cooker, but warn me when you cook, I need time to run. I saw a 12 piece set without insulated handles, but I got a good bargain, even if the insulated handles are not necessary on a magnetic induction stove.I tried porcelain steel pots, they are good, but if you overheat, the porcelain will crack & chip, I have a regular steel pan, it is great for frying, but it rusts faster than cast iron. Cast iron is good, but very heavy, it takes time to heat up, but great for people that cook on high. So CooknHome has won my heart, it is light enough to warm up quickly, with even heat, easy to clean, & the stainless is thick enough, you do not need to worry about wearing out the finish. I use the magnetic inductive stove tops, for safety & Efficiency. They will not set grease on fire, grease burns at 500 deg, the stove shuts down at 400 deg. I can cook eggs at 300 watts, I can boil water at 1500 watts, & none of the heat comes around the pan to burn my arms. If I make a mess while cooking, I can lift the pot & wipe it off, nothing can get caught below the cooking pot. The stove top only gets as hot as the pan warming it.

Family size 1-4 people.
Disclaimer: I hv not cooked in these yet & I will add to my review when/ if I do.Heres what I notice:Well packaged. Glass lids fit well.Needs preheating before food is added. Has an anti stick coating over the stainless. Medium weight with a nicely weighted bottom. Warnings of not to allow to cook dry, or use heat above medium. No abrasive cleaners. If you have a family of over 4, this is not the set for you--too small. Attractive set. Warning about always use a mitt when handling hot.So, that makes me wonder about the reliability of the stay cool handles. Maybe just protecting themselves. This is an attractive set. And if you, as I do, have hand arthritis, it is easier to maneuver than the typical large, heavy set.Update after 5 weeks of steady use:I really like this set. It can be handwashed but actually comes gleaming from the dishwasher--they recommend hand wash, maybe it has to do with the nonstick capability of the finish? No rough or sharp edges. Handles do not overheat for me. I do recommend that you keep stove temp at medium and preheat w oil. They are not fussy or high maintenance. I don't want high maintenance cookware. Life is hard enough without my cookware needing lots of special care. I find I can serve a family of 6 from the set ( 3 adults, 3 kids). I appreciate how lightweight they are while Maintaining a weighted, sturdy bottom. I use them on a glass cook top. Just don't scrape them across. I think this set is giftable & easy care. The short, curved handles are a big plus for my arthritic hands

High quality, fantastic stainless set
I enjoy the variety of pan sizes in this cookware set. They have other sets if you need other variations. Heats very fast and evenly on medium heat. Do NOT use high heat and It states this in the instructions. Medium is all you need, even for boiling water. You will ruine your pans on high heat. I have a glass cooktop. Heat pan first then add your oil. Its all in the instructions. VERY pleased with ease of cooking, clean up and the overall quality of this affordable stainless steel cookware set!

Like 'em a lot
At the price I paid, I didn't have very high expectations for this stainless cookware set. But when I received the set, I was impressed how well made they were. Nice, thick bottoms and sturdy handles. The mirrored surface gives them a nicely polished look and the insulated handles help keep the handles comfortable to hold, although if you've got a raging boil job going on with a lot of hot steam pumping out of the pot, the lid handle can get a little toasty. All the pots are ideal sizes for my purpose, although the large stock pot is smaller than what I'm used to, but I have a larger, older stock pot to use for those extra serious occasions. One problem I've encountered in the past with non-stick stainless steel pots is that maddening issue of food sticking to the bottom. Hate it. That's kept me from even considering buying stainless still pots in the past. But they do last a long, LONG time and they don't leach any questionable chemicals into the food, so I decided to take a chance on this set. So far I've only cooked food with some amount of liquids in these pots, but I've been surprised how nothing sticks to the bottom. I only set the temp up high at first to get the food kicking a bit, but then cut back to a low temp the rest of the way. The trick with stainless steel is to cook at a lower temp and have some amount of liquid in there. Crank that puppy up and cook dry and you've got a good recipe for food sticking to the pan.Edit (May 1, 2019): After three years of using the pots, they're still in good condition without food sticking to the bottom. However, I've subtracted a star because the rubber insulation on one of the pot's handle came off, and it was on one of the pots we don't use often. Other than that, we've been satisfied with these pots.
