I have naturally curly hair and this dryer dries my hair quickly with NO FRIZZ! I use it with the Xtava Black Orchid diffuser and have been getting amazing curls! This dryer is professional quality, and I believe it will last a long time. I love the extra long cord, because my bathroom plugs are in odd places. I don't straighten my hair, but my sister used it to straighten her bangs, so it will be great for those who straighten. I bought this as a second dryer for travel, as I already have their Peony, but I may use this one as my regular and keep the smaller Peony for travel!

Product was packaged nicely. Super affordable and works great. I like that it comes with an accessory and the way the buttons are laid out really appeals to me. Cold and hot settings, speed choice. A great basic hair dryer. I am not one of those who can really see the difference in a $300 dryer vs. A $20 one (sort of like wine...wine is wine is wine to me), I need something that can get the job done efficiently and effectively while still being cost friendly. This fits the bill!

***Edit - after a few weeks of consistent use, I believe I can say that this is the best dryer I’ve ever owned! Great for blowing out straight, but also the best for curly hair with the orchid diffuser. It gives me the best curls and dries much faster than other dryers!Been needing a dryer that can fit my Xtava Orchid diffuser! This one makes the cut! Really love all my Xtava products, they never disappoint

For some reason this Xtava is significantly heavier and louder than my previous one which I had to replace because it was recalled. I bought a new one because I didn’t want to cut the cord and wait the allotted 6 weeks to get a new one when I use it every day. It does the job but I miss my old one which was much lighter and quieter. I probably should have spent the money on a more expensive one.

This is a very heavy duty quality hairdryer. I had a high end hairdryer for years and about a year ago it stopped working. Since then I have been on the hunt for a hairdryer that I love as much and I finally found Xtava and I would have to say that it is as great as the hairdryer I had before, possibly better as this one is plastic and the one I had before was metal, which made it heavier. Xtava dryer is nice and heavy, but not too heavy to manage. It multiple settings, hot and cool and you can easily use the cool burst button when you get too hot. I would recommend this hairdryer if you are used to a more professional dryer that has some weight to it.

This product is a heavy blow dryer that has multiple speeds of regular air and hot air but it's very slow and if you have long hair I wouldnt recommend it for you it will take you forever to blow dry your hair unless you like to wait for it to dry then this would be perfect for you. For me however my hair is very very long and this product was disappointing.

I love it. I had an old xtava hair dryer that I've used for a couple years now and it actually still works but I wanted a new one. So I got this one, gets way hotter than my old one and dries all of my hair in half the time. I'm happy with it. The extra nozzle piece that comes with for on the top of it I have only used once, because I'm just used to the regular open nozzle way to dry. But it works for a smooth finish. Usually I had to blow dry and then straighten all of my hair piece by piece but since using this one I've only had to just touch up around the top with the straightener. It's cut down on time getting ready and I'm out of the house way quicker. Definitely recommend trying it.

So...for the first time in my life, I now actually have a hair dryer whose output nozzle has a small enough circumference to comfortably fit all my "universal" diffuser attachments. No clue when they call them universal attachments when they don't even fit most hair dryers. I have 4 or 5 of them for curly hair and am thrilled to finally be able to use them.
