Mad Mats® Moroccan Indoor/Outdoor Floor Mat, 6 by 9-Feet, Cool Silver

I just put this out so I can't speak to the durability yet. It seems to be well made. I have always bought outdoor/indoor rugs that get ruined before the season is over. I live in Ohio so the month of June sees a lot of rain and they get soaked. They never dry out and they grow mildew. I wanted to go with mad mats as everyone said they are easy to hose off and dry fast. I have already had to clean an area off and it was easy to do. The pattern is perfect for my set. Its plastic, but it feels comfortable under foot.Update: Its been 1 month out in rainy weather. It dries quick and remains very easy to clean off. I normally blow off debris with a leaf vacuum. This holds up well to rinsing off with a hose.

I bought this mat to place under our dining room table. It's beautiful! It definitely fits our decor, and the color and quality are amazing. I was a little worried that a mat made out of recycled bottles would feel weird underfoot, or look cheap, but this was not the case! It does feel like a mat - not a rug - but is very comfortable in bare feet. And it does look woven, but nobody thinks that its plastic when they first come into our house.What I love most about this is that it's easy to clean. With small food bits being dropped by the baby regularly, it's easy to pick up, wipe off, wipe under, and still have a fabulous looking floor covering. It's also great to know that if there's a huge spill I can take it outside and hose it off. I love this!

No one else has complained about the sizing being off. I assume for them it did not matter. The matt is about 4 inches shy of 9 feet. The water resistant underlayment I already had is now too large. Otherwise I like this and find it easy to clean.

I already own two 5 by 8 ft Mad Mats in a multicoloured striped pattern that I purchased through Amazon.com. about two years ago. I use them on an outdoor deck to cover an area inside a cantilevered umbrella that has an attached insect screen. The idea is to keep out the insects that find a way in through the small gap between the deck boards. The umbrella is lowered when not in use and the mats are exposed to strong sunlight as well as rain. The close weave of the mats does keep the insects out so I bought two more for the deck at our cottage and use them in the same way. The Moroccan pattern is beautiful and as these mats are made from recycled plastic they don't hold any water nor does the pattern fade in strong sunlight. They are a bit pricey but I have purchased cheaper ones that fell apart after a couple of summers. We left the first ones out all winter as well and when the snow melted they were exactly the same which makes me think they are virtually indestructible.

I used this as an outdoor patio mat. I really love the design and the color combination. It doesn't look too boring with it's little pop of color and it doesn't look too trendy that the design will go out of style. It's plastic material that is woven into a mat which is great because I can hose down the mat if it gets too dusty and let it air dry. I can't comment on durability or if it fades at this time but if it does, I may have to update this review. Minus 1 star for being an expensive plastic mat.

The color I ordered was a "cool silver" so that should tell you something about the color scheme. The image, like others have stated, makes the rug look like it has teal or tourqouise in it but it DOES NOT AT ALL. The color scheme is grey, white, beige, and black exclusively. This is a great outdoor carpet. We have another Mad Mats in another style in our basement laundry room and we are very pleased with both products. Both Add simple style and class to any space plus they're easy to clean and relatively affordable. If you take care to study what you are ordering, you won't be disappointed.

After only a few months, the edge banding has completely dissolved and unraveled. I use this on a covered patio with very little foot traffic. Looks like its just not made for outdoor use as claimed, even in the best conditions.

This was way too plastic-y. For some reason I wasn't expecting that. Don't think I'd want it inside or outside.
