I bought this a while ago, but finally had a chance to use it on a trip to Scotland. It is really pretty, lightweight but still warm, dried quickly from brief rains. I love it! I was able to use it for casual and "dressy." I thought it was a great value for the money.

Ah, beautiful and warm although not thick! Beautiful bright colors but not gaudy. Easy to gently wash in the sink and allow to air dry in the tub. This has a lovely drape to it in just about any swoop you give it. Good quality and size for even me at 5 feet tall. Wear with slacks, jeans, dresses, very versatile.

Disappointed that I did not get the color I thought that I ordered and can not wear it with outfit as planned.. It is two colors that are something close on the color wheel to the picture. The Pictured light blue was actually dark green or a green teal color and the pictured violet was actually reddish purple. There are old gold color warp threads. The pattern is the same as pictured and is reversible. Keeping it because I was too sick to send it back at that time and it is pretty and soft and perhaps can wear it with something else. Originally I was thinking of ordering another one if this one worked out. Now, probably not. Though computer screens differ in color the description should be accurate.

THIS is the superior pashmina brand. How do I know? I purchased 5 different brands of red pashminas.(See photo.) This is the highest quality of the 5. Fabric is silkiest, intense color saturation and complementary colors, ideal weight, tightest weave, no stray threads, versatile pattern (genuinely reversible), expensive looking. My basic purchasing criteria: Amazon Prime, 4 + stars. I also consider the number of purchases and (to offset the number of purchases, date the item was first available on Amazon.) The other 4 fit the criteria, but none were as classy or as close to accurately representing item pictured. I bought 2 of the red and one purple, all as gifts. The recipients LOVED them. And told me they became a go-to wardrobe item. I told one friend what I paid and she didn't believe me. 😁 One suggestion: they are packaged in a cheap, tacky plastic sleeve. If you are going to give as presents, DEFINITELY plan to wrap yourself. I used colored tissue paper and clear cellophane from the dollar store and fancy wired ribbon from Michaels.

I got the red one! It looks even better than the picture. After reading all the reviews I am somewhat wondering what exactly was sent to some people. Some have said the color was dull but mine was a very strong deep maroon like red. Some have said the detail was lacking but I find no imperfections in mine! Some have said the fabric was less than desirable but I find it very thick and soft and smooth. It is very thick compared to other scarfs I have bought like this! This would be treasured highly for the warmth it would provide. I am truly impressed with the price. It is such a nice large thick scarf for the price. I think one would be challenged to find anything like this at this price. Some of the reviews said it was not hand made or the fabric was not real. Those are more than available from many Indian websites but be prepared to add a digit to the price meaning $100 and up and that does not include shipping! Please keep in mind I mean no disrespect to those who treasure real and handmade authentic items. I actually admire that there are some who even know the difference and make the attempt to secure such items ! I have several items like that myself! I collect scarves and wraps and wear them out all the time because you never know if you want an extra layer for a little more warmth; plus, they're simply pretty, a great accessory. Like the first reviewer, I got this for the purpose of decorating my dining room: for a bit of color I wrapped the fuchsia one around the back of a chair and tied it on the back. Gorgeous!! But then I wrapped around my own back. Gorgeous!! I was planning on getting 8 of the same color for my dining room chairs--festive and makes a fun change that's a lot less expensive than new chairs or upholstery. But I think I'll get 8 different colors. With the same pattern, they'll match and I will have a huge variety of colors to wear myself! This wrap is particularly nice because it's a good size, good thickness and quality fabric. The tassels are a nice touch. The color is quite vibrant. Good buy. Great value. Highly recommended.
