Amazing value
Very simple to solder. Sounds amazing, just like my Squire pickguard, who's pickups were rusted and switches were buzzing. By the way, for me, only one hole (by the bottom tone knob) didn't line up, which will be a simple fix. 08' Made In Indonesia Squire. Unfortunately mine came with a light scratch, and yes I peeled the plastic protector off, so it's not on that. Everything else makes up for it though.. I plan on soldering in musiclily's own hot rail pickup into the bridge on this too, hoping it's as of good quality (By the way I checked, it fits the slot on this perfectly if you're planning on modding this pickguard!)

Great upgrade for a Squier!
I didn't want to dump very much into my Squier bullet strat, but wanted better tone. This pick guard is easy to install and sounds pretty good. My Fender American Stratocaster will always be king.

Unbeatable price. Everything works.
For everything you get, you can’t beat it. Good to start off and upgrade from. Dropped right in to my 1990 MIM strat. Soldered 3 wires. Pots spin effortless with no noise. Need to adjust pickup height after install. The solder work isn’t great but everything worked out of the box. Not the most clear/sparkley tone (maybe after a resolder it will clean up) The pickups are a little cheesy on the build. 6 equal height poles with a big ceramic magnet slapped across the back of them. The tones all in your fingers anyway, right? ;) Still, I’m impressed with my purchase and it made an old guitar more usable for me (had 1 EMG-81 prior).

Sounds like a strat !!
This is absolutely fine for any project guitar. Functional, hole alignment spot on and sounds great.

Great Replacement for Squire Strat!
Great value. Installation super easy. Replaced old pickguard and pickups in a Squire Bullet strat I got from a pawn shop. This made a world of difference. Pickguard came shielded with aluminum (i shielded body cavity with 2 sided copper and virtually zero hum on both Spider V and Peavey Vypyr amp) I was suprised how well these out performed the stock pups. I was not expecting much. Wiring harness ver clean and bundled well. 5 way selector and volume/tone knobs are smooth. I would absolutely buy again!

Working Fine
I have a cheap Squier by Fender that is likely 15 or 20 years old. Took about 20 minutes to solder three wires and mount. Had to shave 1/32' off the neck cutout for clearance. Surprised that the holes matched. It seems that it is always a guess on these whether they will fit. I got lucky . The ceramic pickups are a little too bright for my taste, but I can't complain since the guitar is now hum-free.

Just decent overall
Pickgaurd for a dead squier? Seems to work fine, but if you want it to sound like an America? It’s gonna need some work. Sounds like a squier (maybe a little cheaper) but when you get a guitar that isn’t working and this is what you can afford to make it work. This works just fine. Fully expected the hardware to be low grade. It’s good for the cost, but just decent overall.

Just like a Stratocaster
Quality looks to be good, fits the body well, holes line up. Guitar not built yet, cannot comment on sound.

Buena calidad. Para una guitarra barata con las piezas muy feas vino genial

I ordered the following: Musiclily Basic Pre-wired Loaded Standard ST-SSS Pickguard with Ceramic Magnet Single Coil Pickups Set for Strat Style Electric Guitar, 3Ply White It was delivered in about a week. It cost $40 Aussie bucks. It's sounds great!! One of the wires coming from the neck pickup was too short to fit my strat's routes, but if you're buying this then you should be pretty handy with a soldering iron anyways, no biggie. To be honest, I'm a pickup snob. SD Antiquities, boutique pickups, etc in my other guitars. I was amazed at how good these sound!!!! Not only are they good for $40 bucks, they're good PERIOD. No, actually they're GREAT. Don't hesitate to buy this loaded pickguard, I'm pleasantly stunned (I really wasn't expecting much to be honest).

To be honest, this pickguard is really impressive. I don’t understand the negative evaluations. I had to sand a bit around the neck corner, after that all the holes fits perfectly. I put this pickguard on an Old Squier Stratocaster SE that I custom for a project to make my own silver sky. I also put a toggle switch for the Gilmour mod. The price is not fair, it’s comparable to fender MIM or better. At first I wanted only the pickguard, cause I have tex mex pickups to put in it. But I change my mind cause of the quality of these pickups. I have fender player 2018, Standard MIM, and another Mexican with SSL1 kit, and I have to say this pickguard sounds really very good. Check the sound on this video. I don’t have a choice to recommend. Go for it.

Ho dovuto renderlo.
