This is a good little blower. I pulled it out of the box the day it arrived and plugged in the battery and was good to go. It's quiet and has ample power for blowing grass clippings and leaves. The turbo boost feature has quite a bit of kick, too. This is also a handy tool to clear sawdust out of the work area after a project. Overall, I'm very happy with this purchase. It has great power, lightweight (I think the heaviest component is the battery).

We recently added this EGO Power+ LB4800 480 CFM 3-Speed Turbo 56-Volt Lithium-Ion Cordless Electric Blower to our collection of yard tools, and we are very pleased with its performance. We already had a battery from our EGO weed whacker, so the fact that this model doesn’t include a battery or charger wasn’t an issue for us. The blower works well for our residential needs. Our driveway and sidewalk area aren’t very large, so the 480 CFM power is more than adequate for keeping everything clean and tidy. The 3-speed settings, including the turbo mode, provide great versatility depending on the task at hand, from clearing light debris to more stubborn leaves. One thing we particularly appreciate is the moderate noise level. It's not overly loud, which is great and makes it more comfortable for us to use on the weekends in our neighborhood. Another standout features is its cordless convenience. Without the hassle of a cord, maneuvering around our yard is effortless. The blower is lightweight and easy to handle, making the final set of our yard work a breeze. The battery life from our existing EGO battery is impressive and lasts long enough to be used in our weed wacker then to the blower without needing a recharge. It’s reliable, convenient, and ideal for use around a small to medium-sized yards..

I bought this, the edger, and the hedge trimmer. I now loathe the years of struggle with other electric cord, battery,and gas powered units. These units are powerful, safe (safety triggers with slight start delay for accidental trigger pulls), well-designed, and effective. Importantly, the battery lasts a LONG time and charges quickly. (e.g. If you have a regular size yard, you need buy only one unit with the battery and charger....You can change it out very easily. If you have a large yard or tasks, you could buy a spare battery and the other will be charged by the time the in-use one dies). The charger/battery also have built-in battery protection (including overcharge, so you can leave it in the charger); We'll see how many hours-worth of use I can get from one. I'm looking forward to taking the battery/charger inside for the winter and using the blower to clear the driveway and sidewalk on those light snow dusting days. (The blower is as powerful as many last gas unit). If you're comparing prices, watch out for those that sell NONE of the units with the battery and charger and then charge a small fortune for them separately.

one of the best tools I have bought! Why didn't I think of getting this sooner. So far, have been happy with other ego brand items and the batteries have lasted fairly long so far (6+ yrs.)

I purchased this in June 2017 because I have the mower and already have the 5Ah battery and charger. Since the OEM and Amazon claim all batteries will work with this blower and specifically list the 5 and 7.5 Ah batteries as accessories, I gave it a go. It worked for about 6 minutes. I loved it and it blew the heck out of my dusty garage floor. Quiet compared to other blowers, very powerful on the lowest setting, and didn't torque my hand when operating. I reread the manual several times and see where the PCB protection interlock may have prevented it from turning on. But I tried several times over the past 3 weeks before returning it and it never operated. The battery works fine--mower operates. However, the manual states the two batteries that can be used, and neither are 5 or 7.5 Ah.

At first, I was highly skeptical that it wouldn’t have the power level I needed because of the price. To my surprise it worked great. The boost power button on it, was what really sold me. When I hit areas where I need more power I just hit it and it does the trick. I highly recommend this, amazing quality for the price and trust me I’m very picky.

These eGo battery operated tools are more powerful than any two-stroke I've owned. And it's incredibly easy, and lightweight. I have the 10" chainsaw tree trimmer, the power base, the string trimmer (nothing uses the power base except the chainsaw), the blower and the bush trimmer. All are exceptional. I'm finished the job before the two-stroke would have even started running. No gas. Pop the battery in, and go. Hope they make a battery operated wheel barrow soon. I would avoid the bush trimmer that uses the power base as it's about 8' long and it threw out my shoulder in 10 minutes - sent it back immediately, but 5 weeks later and I'm still nursing that danged shoulder.

I mainly was looking for a cordless to blow around my pool. I didn’t like dragging the extension. Electricity and water do not mix. I already have the ego string trimmer with the battery and charger so this seemed like a good choice. I LOVE this blower. Easily enough power to clear my pool deck, clear my 100 foot drive, and still plenty of juice for the string trimmer to trim around my1/3 acre lot and house. I love how you can regulate the blower speed with the lever on the front, plus the turbo button for a quick burst if you need the extra power. I haven’t run out of battery power yet. I still have my corded blower for leaves in the yard but I’m fully satisfied with this blower. I’ve had many blowers and string trimmers in my 35 yrs of home ownership. I’ve finally found the right ones, thank you Ego for making great products!
