2007 Polaris 450I did have to buy a new starter clutch as well. But this pull string assembly worked excellent. I used it for a entire weekend mud bogging because my battery got wet mud boggin.I would highly recommend.

Cheap Quality
Never even pulled the recoil to start it and 15 minutes in the spring exploded and the rope wrapped up the pulse generator and destroyed it. Decent case but wouldn’t trust the cheap recoil parts.

Does what it's supposed to.
I was in a bind and needed this fast. I prefer OEM parts but it wasn't an option at the time. I installed it and it's been fine. It doesn't feel as sturdy as the Polaris one but so far so good.

Cheap means CHEAP
Got my brand new pull Start cover yesterday. I installed it and tried to start the wheeler but was having a hard time with the pull start. Use the electric starter and The dog was stuck out and completely Mangled the brand new pull start... go buy a new one made by your products Producer if you want one that will last
