Vacuum & Router Support for D4R, D4, D3, D1258R, D1258 Jigs

Greatly reduces the amount of wood chips in the air and on the floor. I used to build 3 to 4 drawers and had to vacuum around the machine. I just completed 19 Drawers with less than a Cup os Dust on the floor

I purchased the Leigh D4R many years ago and used it only once.The sawdust and chip created was to time consuming to clean after some dovetail joints I avoided using the D4R.The dust created was so bad (all over garage, cars & Me) I avoided using the D4R (not a negative comment on the D4R).I read about dust vacuum & router supporter before but did not purchased until many years latter.The dust collector is VERY efficient at vacuuming practically all sawdust and chips created.The "cats meow" is adds extra support for the router.It was very easy to setup (if you read the instructions) and I love the magnetic hold downs.I wonder why the D4R didn't include the dust collector with the D4R.I would buy in a heart beat if I would of known how good it was.My two cents for what it's worth.

useful for 80-90 % had to take one end off for mounting purpose unique to my application and found replacing the end sloppy. They used wood screws forced into the aluminum casting; should have been ss metal screws tapped into place making removal smooth.

Routing is notorious for distributing solid wood into chips and dust everywhere. This is the best at reducing the amount of flying chips & dust. It is not perfect, but it is the best gizmo around. It also keeps the router from tilting.

It works really well, I agree with others, it collect about 90% of the chips.

The support adds support to your router, helps reduce dust, and has great fit an finish. You won't regret buying one.
