ColgatePeroxyl Antiseptic Mouthwash and Mouth Sore Rinse, 1.5% Hydrogen Peroxide, Mild Mint - 500ml, 16.9 Fluid Ounces

Literally just received it today and I’m already happy. I’m between jobs and won’t be able to see a dentist for a few weeks. Woke up the last few days to some sensitive gums. Tried this on a whim and the first round I already feel more relief then otc meds or salt water. Obviously if you’re having major issues you will still need to see a doctor. But I’d say if you have perio. Issues and need the occasional relief this isn’t bad to keep on hand. I’m definitely gonna keep a bottle in my bathroom from now on. It gets really foamy but that’s the hydrogen peroxide helping you.

We really like this mouth wash. If you have a cut or sore in your mouth (especially from braces) it is gone the next day after using this mouth wash.

One thing to note is that it foams a lot when you rinse, which might surprise you initially. (I was) This happens because hydrogen peroxide breaks down into water and oxygen upon contact with enzymes in your saliva and oral tissues. The release of oxygen helps flush out debris, clean irritated areas, and promote healing. It’s a sign that the rinse is actively working, so the foaming is entirely normal and beneficial!Through my research, I also learned that while this mouthwash is great for short-term use, it’s not meant for continuous, long-term daily use. Since hydrogen peroxide can disrupt the natural balance of oral bacteria and potentially cause irritation with prolonged use, it’s best to use it for a few weeks, then take a break before resuming if needed.The mild mint flavor is refreshing without overpowering and does not have the harsh burn of traditional antiseptic mouthwashes. If you have gum sensitivity or mouth sores, this is a fantastic option.

This is my go to mouthwash when I have a mouth sore that is having a difficult time going away on its own. It is very effective and promotes the healing process of a wound so the healing time is cut in half. The only downside is that it gets very foamy.

This mouthwash has made a big improvement! The pain of a sore spot on my gums is gone.

This was what my dentist recommended I use. It’s the best mouthwash I have ever tried that actually helped reduce mouth sores! Mouth feels fresh and clean.

Great on mouth burns. I accidentally sipped hot soup and burned my bottom inner lip. Two weeks of taking care of it untilI rinse with Colgate mouth rinse and in one day I felt relieved
