Flashy Flashy
Had this strobe light for about a year and it has worked perfectly. The lights are very bright but not blinding as well as the magnets are very strong.. not saying it stayed in place at 120mph or anything but… it probably would.Overall good quality for the price!

Highly visible
I put on my snowplow for higher visibility. Works great, looks good, strong magnet to hold on roof all winter, and very durable. Don't know why there are 15 strobe light patterns however? I just picked one and stuck with it!

Great light
This light is very bright will let traffic know for a very long distance. The 16 different modes are a +. so, I recommend this light to every responder.

Plenty bright, GREAT value!
This is a great product for the price. I used to look at Xprite as more of a toy company than one making serious equipment, but they've shown a real dedication to improving their products over the years.I have another rooftop strobe from Xprite, which I believe is an earlier version of this same product. I got that one about 4 or 5 years ago, and it still works great. This new model has at least two major design improvements. One is the clear plastic cover. The old model had a clamshell design with two halves joined in the middle. This was prone to separating and allowing water to leak into the unit. The new model has a one-piece cover that eliminates this flaw. The second improvement is the cord length. I like to install this with the cord running the rear doors, behind the driver's seat, and alongside the center console. Having the cord come in the back means the cord is under less stress from the door opening and closing, and prevents it from draping across the dashboard, which is a safety hazard and a nuisance. The old model had a cord that was too short for this type of install. I ended up splicing an extension into it. But the new model has a cord that is a couple feet longer, which is perfect. This light is not quite as bright as others on the market, but I think it's plenty bright enough for my use. It's noticeable from a significant distance during the daytime, and it's too bright to look at directly in the dark. I also appreciate how they offer this in a two-color alternating format (red/white/red/white) instead of each side being one color (red/red/white/white). I don't recall that being an option when I bought my first one.My only substantial criticism is the mounting. The magnets seem weaker and/or smaller than on the old model. Xprite tries to compensate by having the rubber cover work as a suction cup, but this only works on a smooth surface. One of my trucks has peeling clear coat on the roof, so the suction doesn't work at all. It has stayed on ok so far, but I'm worried a freak gust of wind while driving down the freeway could knock it loose. I'm going to try and replace the magnets with stronger ones ASAP.

Performs as advertised
This has worked great. The rubber footers come off, but Xprite has helped me with a nocharge replacement when I accidentally lost one.

super bright
this light is super bright, love it. As I was putting it on a plastic roof I found a No Drill - Permanent Lightbar Conversion Adapter specifically for it so I could attach it to my Kubota without drilling any holes, used the holes where the old mount were.

Small but bright
I've only had this for 3 days but it seems like a really good strobe light for the money. I'm using it on a compact tractor when pushing snow - to increase visibility out by the roadway (in addition to the 4-way flashers going, my safety yellow vest, and the bright orange paint on the Kubota. But the cars still fly by and pass very closely). I've only used it in the daytime - but the strobes are pretty bright despite the light being only 6" x 12".I put it on the underside of the ROPS bar so the door lentil on the overhang doesn't damage the light. I have about 1" of clearance unless any snow builds up to bring the tractor up higher. The magnets hold really well to the ROPS but I put a zip tie around it just in case. My only concern is if the unit is still waterproof when its hanging under the ROPS bar, or maybe I need to tape over any seams and screws openings.
