A MUST HAVE FOR HEAVY MOTOR TOOLS
SUPERIOR PRODUCT! If you're looking for a hanger for a Foredom or other heavy motor tool motor, I HIGHLY recommend that you buy THIS genuine Foredom MAMH-1 Hanger. I already had a (less expensive, non-Foredom) motor tool hanger which I use for my Dremel with flexshaft attachment (it works great for the Dremel). So when I purchased a Foredom, I was planning on simply using the hanger I had. I was WRONG. The Foredom motors are significantly heavier, and I discovered immediately that the cheaper hangers are just NOT up to the task. This hanger is designed specifically to handle the weight and movement of the heavier duty motors. Some reviews state concerns with the plastic clamp, which is understandable - however it appears to be a very sturdy industrial plastic and I have not had any issues with it. This hanger does require assembly, however it only took me about 7 minutes to assemble (and I'm not really mechanically inclined) - take your time - be patient and FOLLOW THE ASSEMBLY DIRECTIONS.

I hung my Foredom Motor Assembly with fears that the mount was a poor design and tightened the Clamp onto the edge of ...
I have used Foredom products for over 40 years and recently bought a new Foredom Motor Assembly which is still an excellently well made quality tool. I then bought the Foredom Two Piece Workbench Mounting Pole which is held to the workbench with a small C-clamp which is a joke. The advertised hard mount was missing from my order. I hung my Foredom Motor Assembly with fears that the mount was a poor design and tightened the Clamp onto the edge of my hardwood workbench figuring that I'd hard mount it the next morning. I live where there are no earthquakes or anything that could shake the tall mounting pole carrying the heavy Foredom Motor Assembly. The next morning I woke up to find that the cheaply made undersized Foredom Motor Assembly Mounting Pole Clamp had slipped off of my workbench dropping my new Foredom Motor onto my shop cement floor. I'll make my own Foredom Motor Mounting Assembly hard mounted to the wall behind my workbench. I have worked with quality tools since the 50s and DON'T recommend that anyone buy or use this Foredom Mounting Pole Assembly!
