Never had to use it thankfully, but it’s the only calcium topical to neutralize HF acid in chemicals on the skin. More for peace of mind

I have not had to use this product yet which just fine with me. We bought it in case of an HF accident. The gel is supposed to give the HF acid another source of calcium other than eating away at your bones which is what it will do if it gets the chance. The tube we got looks to be the real thing and arrived sealed and in good condition. This is one of those things you keep just in case but hopefully never need to use so I can't comment on how effective it is. But if the acid hits the skin I would rather have it than nothing.

We use this in case of burns caused by hydrofluoric acid, we constantly buy this for the always just in case the PPE fails of course. It does have a expiry date so it must be current.

Emergency use specific to hydrofluoric acid exposure - this has a very niche application. For some reason they slap an expiration date on the tubes - ensuring that you'll be back for more soon enough. All you can really hope for is an expiration that is as far away as possible. Often , it's 12 months. In this case it was 18. Small victories.

I bought this for emergency use in our powdercoat shop. We use 1010P Stripper which is very caustic to skin. This tiny tube resides in a baggie on the wall by the rinse station. After rinsing, this cream neutralizes the acid. It’s very important to keep on hand!

Purchased for working around HF acid. A must if you do so. HF attacks calcium in bone and this supplies Ca to tie up the fluoride ion.
