Alright (slight spoilers)
Here we go again. The thing that sticks out for me after reading this was wow, that Amante (story’s antagonist) has a point. And Masato’s reaction was, “That’s okay. This is a unique adventure” (I’m paraphrasing). I’m just like, yeah you are in a unique position, experiencing different things that was thrust upon you by others, so what? Is he even happy?Just like in previous volumes, his mom does something and he gets frustrated, annoyed, or creep out. Then he gives up and accepts it or roll with it, because what can he do? Truly, the series's punching bag as comic relief. That was why I was kinda in disbelief that he was proclaiming that he accepted all the ‘weirdness’ because it’s an adventure that no one has and only he can experience. I’m finding the MC more pitiful as times goes on. Or maybe I’m being cynical and pessimistic on a comedy-centric story. And that the author is just subverting a typical adventure that you find in a run-off the mill isekai.Either way, that's why I gave it 3 stars because I was disappointed how Masato responds when he confronts the antagonist during the climax. It just gives Mamako a free pass to keep doing what's she doing. Besides that, it was an alright volume. Anybody who enjoyed the mom-centric comedy of previous volumes would know what they are getting into. Except seeing more “exaggerated depictions of mom-like behaviors” (from afterword) more prevalent.

Another great book from the author, I'm really looking forward to book 4. Keep them coming good sir and don't let the prudes stop you from creating this series of wholesome goodness.

Kneel Before the Awesome Power of Moms!
The creators of Do You Love Your Mom and Her Two-Hit Multi-Target Attacks?, Vol. 1 and Do You Love Your Mom and Her Two-Hit Multi-Target Attacks?, Vol. 2 , author Dachima Inaka and illustrator Iida Pochi, have wrapped up their first arc in the series with this book, and I think have both finalized and revealed how this series is going to go in the future. Up until now Masato and Company, (sigh), OK, let’s be honest here, Mamako and company, have not only triumphed over everything encountered so far, but have repeatedly expanded their party, adding one, two, and now three members to the original party of Mom and Son:Masato Oosuki: high school student MMORPG player Hero who doesn’t understand his Mom AT ALL;Mamako Oosuki: doting, typical anime, manga, light novel mother (large boobs, looks like a slightly older sister, has no clue either about playing MMORPG’s or not embarrassing her son with her every move, also a Hero, but a much bigger, badder Hero;Wise: high school student tsundere Sage (she can… and will repeatedly kill you and bring you back to life if you piss her off,... which is relatively easy to do); has Mom issues;Porta: 12-year-old Traveling Merchant who has special abilities and talents for supporting the rest of the party while looking ridiculously cute; has Mom issues;Medhi: high school Cleric with a Dark Side, always fighting with Wise over everything BUT Masato, whom neither care much about; has Mom issues. As a result, they’re the ones the government MMMMMORPG creators are inclined to turn to now whenever the game starts acting in ways never intended (by them at least) so the indestructible non-non-player character based upon Masumi Shirase is sent to trick them into,... uh,... talk them into investigating a Dungeon where Something Has Gone Wrong. She shows up dead, dressed as a nun, like always, and once revived explains the Problem. It seems that, Amante, one of the Four Heavenly Kings of the Libere Rebellion, an anti-mom group of PC’s, is trying to beat the dungeon in question and thus obtain the prize offered: a wish, which, because she has a bad habit of explaining in minute detail every single thing she is ever planning, she will use to remove all mothers from the game and thus (from the government’s POV) totally wreck it.So it is up to our heroes to clear the dungeon first and thus obtain the Wish Amante otherwise intends to misuse. No problem, right?... Well, they do have to deal with a couple of quarreling NPC groups: Moms and their rebellious children. As the Author frankly admits in the Afterword, this series is NOT intended to “mock the idea of mothers” or “to turn mothers into a laughingstock” but rather to poke gentle fun at “exaggerated depictions of mom-like behavior” in modern Japan. So, love it or hate it, that’s what readers of the novel series, the upcoming manga series, and watchers of the upcoming anime series are in for.Be. Ye. Warned.
