Great!
I have EDS and these shoulder braces are the only thing that works well after you have subluxated and feel like your shoulder is going to come out again and again. I have one for each shoulder. You must wear something under it because the strapping can be a little chaffing. I find it is only a problem in the armpit area when wearing a tank. I usually wear a tank under it and my regular shirt/dress over the top. I ordered the biggest size. I am 5'11 and 230lbs and have a little arm flab. They fit a little tight but it is exactly how I need it.

It greatly reduces the pain
Although it expensive, it greatly reduces the pain and discomfort from shoulder pain. I would recommend wearing it with a T-shirt for better comfort.

Wonderful!
The brace fit as expected, I had one years ago and new what to expect. I slept in the brace to give my shoulder a chance to heal from the sprain( that’s what my primary doctor said). I have had 2 rotator cuff surgeries in the past and the first brace helped me to build my strength back and to help with any lingering pain associated with the healing process.

This brace seems to help. The only problem is ...
This brace seems to help. The only problem is that after wearing it all day it becomes uncomforatable under the arms.

It's worth it!!
This brace works wonderfully!! Most shoulder braces are impractical for a woman and also super hot. This one is by far the best one I have found.

Not what it is cracked up to be.
This item is not what I needed. It does nothing for my shoulder other than keep it warm. The brace does not keep the shoulder in place as advertised. There doesn't seem to be any inhibiting rotation or support applied to the joint. I did not experience any help with my shoulder pain nor did it "Stabilizes and guides the shoulder joint".

shoulder brace
Have osteoarthritis in left shoulder aggravated by years of powerlifting. Weightlifting (lighter weights), however, now seems to help, strengthening the ligaments and muscles around the joint to help keep it in place. Was looking for something that would provide support while weight training, protecting the joint while allowing me to strengthen the tissue around it. The Omo Train Shoulder Support works as well as one might expect for a shoulder brace given the dynamics involved. It seems to me that you need something that is firmly anchored on two ends in order to provide enough pressure and support for a shoulder joint. The Omo Train was the only one that I found in my research that appeared to do this. It is well stitched and most of the material is breathable and appears durable. It is not neoprene but an elasticized cloth that one might expect to see used to wrap a weak or injured joint. Been using it now for a couple of months. It seems to help. It' s not a cure-all. I doubt any shoulder brace can be for conditions similar to mine. It's just a tough joint to protect. So for this reason, three (3) stars, would be the highest rating I would likely give any shoulder brace. Concerns: I purchased the largest device and it still feels too snug around the arm to me. Also the straps that pull the device to the opposite shoulder seem a bit weaker than they could be and while they work fine now, I fear they may lose elasticity over time.July 27, 2013 update. Still using the same brace. Use it on average 3 times a week (for nearly a year and half). It has held up perfectly. I always wear a shirt under it and over it, so washing the brace is only needed infrequently which may have helped durability (no one has complained yet ;). The elastic has also held up and continues to work as intended. Great construction quality! This is the best my shoulder has felt in a very long time. I have recommended this brace to several friends. Now my other shoulder is beginning to bother me. Maybe it's time for a second brace.
